In Korean culture yes male eldest child had up to like early 90s the primogeniture right meaning he is the heir,…
Thanks for the explanation! I did know about the male "heir" but wasn't that sure about the role of an eldest daughter. So, in this drama, the kids could not have been able to go with the mom even if she wanted to take them?
I grew up in the 60s in the US and my mother expected a LOT of childcare and supervision from my eldest sister.…
I'm the eldest at home and yes, parents expected certain concessions or help sometimes BUT, poor Gyu Rim was not only expected to supervise or help with her siblings, but to concede, sacrifice and pretty much let all of them walk over her?! Pffffft. Of course dad being an immature man child didn't help. But also, the bio mom knew all that! So imo she should have tried to help her child at least. I mean, at the beginning she didn't have it easy, but since then she got married, and married well.
Btw, can we talk about what bio mom told Gyu Rim? Like, is it to be expected in their culture just because she's the eldest child? Or just because she's the eldest daughter? Oh, I am really not fond of that woman!!!
@Aera8...remember when Mu-jin brought Gyeol home and met the twins outside the house, then they went elsewhere…
Yes, it looked like a dark room. IMO she either had twins and lost one or Gyeol is not her kid. Like she helped someone who died then and she got the kid? Bc I can’t see her dating another man right after MuJin. But then it’d be pointless how ppl seem to think Gyeol is so alike to MuJin,
Let’s wait and see. I am regretting not waiting to tart watching when more episodes are out but now that I started I can’t pause it 🤣
Girl, I already went there too. Thats the explanation I had. She had twins and lost one or the baby isn’t hers.…
Well, the last weekend drama that has me interested from the beginning was it’s beautiful now. Afterwards I kind of watched some episodes and then mostly dropped them. Yes, the actor is very good. I had missed him

Yes, I’ve also thought that Ok Seon would try to use the dad if she finds out but tbh I don’t think he’s going to work with her for that. Also their vibes are somewhat of ppl flirting. And so far Ok Seon has left her daughter to deal with Gyu Rim directly. Probably why she still hasn’t met anyone else but the dad. It will be interesting for sure. I lately pause weekend dramas until they’re at leas halfway through but idk if I can with this one. Has me wanting to know what will happen!
Ha-ha drunk Gyu Rim was so funny to me😂 and my heart breaks for Mu Jin more🥺 what kind of mom , sis that…
I can’t understand ML’s mom and sister insistence in ML doing what they want? Why?! And Gyu Rim better tell him soon if the kid is his! There’s going to be much hurt bc of that. Yes, the brothers and little sister we twin are all very protective of FL. It’s cute to see.
I can’t understand bio mom at all! She spent years in a position where she could help her kids and instead did nothing!
Though that'd be overreaching I think

Also whatever chaos will come from dad and OkSeon.
The custody battle.
And how the bio mom will act too.
I also want to see greedy sister face some karma.
Plus, I can almost feel how the twins mom will make an appearance too. Especially if he becomes somewhat famous.
List of potentially chaotic and interesting developments.

Also dad and mom.
Only gigolo brother isn’t directly involved I think.

And if that’s when bio mom didn’t bother to come… ugh I can’t like that woman rn!
And true about Gyeol. Only makes sense if ML grandma wants to take him and that brings the conflict to both the FL and ML.
