Just to add… now only KBS has these long dramas.
One of the best family dramas I’ve watched was from another broadcaster but they all have canceled them now.
That one had a gay couple as one of the main couples. KBS is too conservative for it.

She definitely is not quite as expressive as most of the cast. And it’s sometimes hard bc it feels like the scene needed more. But it’s very much how weekend and daily dramas work. Sometimes it’s the ML the complete newbie at acting.

Maybe that’s why I’m generally more invested in the side stories.

But I must say, I did like last ep and her scenes with ML.

Well I only started Our Happy Days so idk but yes, Recupe for Love had that in spades.

Also other weekend dramas all have them.
In wonderful days (from same writer) these couple became the surprise couple for the family after finally giving permission to main couple to marry.

But there came these two (FL dad and ML mom actors) crashing the moment bc they were expecting 🤣😂🤣 they were the oldest brother of ML and older sister of FL respectively.

Chaos ensued. Again.

So I imagine is one of those themes drama show bc it’s a reality too

Idk if it’s illegal but if you go to their moments in YouTube, a lot of comments are of alarmed ppl saying how can they date, the kids won’t be able then?

Those are the reasons why I love weekend/ daily dramas. We get more than just one big story.
Here we see so many different sides of life and love. From old to young. Conflicts between couples, kids and parents, middle aged ppl.
If done well, you can breeze through and don’t really feel the amount of eps.

He’s just ridiculous enough that her walls end up down. Even if it’s to bicker with him like a kid, bc he matches that energy too. Still she always ends up bothered or smiling a little. She needs that.

IMO, they could have an amazing story bc they balance well.

They both are flawed characters but seeing them bicker bc “did you insult my son/daughter?” Also tells us that they do care.
