I have read that many societies in asia do frown upon ppl getting married to others who are legally related. However, in some dramas they end up downplaying that...big example Young Lady and Gentleman (though that mess should only be used as example of how NOT to do a drama for the most part lol)

According to what was said in an interview the MiRae-HyunJae couple was going to be the 'melodrama' couple, so I guess being related even if legally could play a big part for them.

So far I am enjoying how well balanced everthing has been.

This has been the best treatmeant after the disaster that was YLAG. I hope it stays like this.

They became one of my fav couples in dramas, no matter what age. They're scenes after they get together were still good though. I just wished they had more scenes.

In some dramas, they tend to make a big issue of ppl getting involved with someone who is legally related even if no blood ties are shared.

So, I wonder who they are going to tackle this here. I think it's going to be huge already once the truth comes out bc MiRae's paternal grandmother does not even know that her DiL is adopted and she's very proud of that family's background.

Tbh I think another factor which could play an important part is if the truth comes out BEFORE MiRae and Hyun Jae start dating officially. That would probably make them try to hide their feelings at first.

Same! I must say I love family dramas and I respect more those who are not always makjang. I was happy seeing that high rating.

Quite interesting. Usually dramas, especialy long ones, tend to start declining in the ratings not the opposite.

Yes he has been very impulsive so far. I think it will be hard for him to deal with the fallout of being either scammed or in debt, having his family find out about his contract relationship and having to deal with his feelings for Yoo Na, who I think is even less interested in actually having a relationship.

Wow, this drama went from 8.5 to 9.2??! I mean, I love it, but it's surprising me tbh.

Am I the only one who thinks Soo Jae will be in trouble with the gym? And also, once her mom finds out about him and YA's "contract relationship" things are going to be tough for him.

I love MiRae and how she already aknowledges her feelings for Hyun Jae. He needs to really follow through with setting clear limits with that crazy ex.

And I love Hae Jun and Yoon Jae. They are both so weird in different ways. I always end up laughing. Let's see when Yoon Jae finds out about Hae Jun being the one who lied about him being a player.
