Three years ago, I watched two weekenders back-to-back. “The Real Has Come” and “Live Your Own Life”.…
I dropped the Real has come and also Love your own life… I don’t think I even wanted the endings. Both stories disappointed me sometime around ep30. I am hoping this one keeps me interested. So far, even with the usual tropes, I think we’ve been surprised by the twists. Also, I am loving how this one is mainly a big family, and their relationships and connections with three (maybe four if the teacher stops being a solitary unit) rich families. Two of them already connected! Love how we have here so many types of romances to develop, all in different stages of life. The twins also add something to keep me interested. The fact that so far we really don’t have a powerful villain is also a plus. Keeps the problems and reactions of the characters more relatable.
I think the only character who is being underplayed is MuJins sister. Like so far she doesn’t have an individual storyline
I think there will be more "flashbacks" to what happened in the past - especially w/r/t the mother of…
Lmao. Her ex I find immature and shameless but somehow not slimy. He usually says what he wants even if it’s completely out of the question. Her new one, seems like a good man but I still think he could surprise us. Maybe bc all the parents so far seem a little ( or a lot) crazy when it comes to their kid s

Well, I went and read again the character profile and in the translation it pretty much says, she was ‘forced out’ and that’s why I say I can understand her not taking the kids then. But over 15 have gone and she still wanted no contact?
Still, at some point we’ll probably get flashbacks and / confrontations with dad.
I hve a problem with how GR’s mother is written. I understand she’s deeply hurt and embittered - but the blame…
I have no idea how they want to give us a reunion with her kids. For now I don’t think it’s possible, especially if she keeps trying to find thinking’s out from the shadows and doesn’t start actively trying to get involved. She not only ended up in a bad moment with GR, she has no idea what’s happening with Gyu Oh and Gyu Rim… I imagine for her it won’t be easy to accept her mother even if she has missed her so much.
I don't know what the writers can pull out of their hats in order to redeem her. Her behavior has been unacceptable…
Idk if the fact that deadbeat husband ended up with nothing bc his new wife left with son other man is seen as already experiencing karma?
Anyways, I find him lately not so bad… though still shameless.
Bio mom… idk, my issue is how she decided to forget she had kids. I mean, she couldn’t take them when she divorced, sucks… but I get it; but she married the rich stepdad how many years ago? And doesn’t seem like she even made an effort to contact the kids. Like, why??
Which ones do you think will be the first to get resolved?
:D True, those moms are all serious in different ways. Bio Mom, as far as I've read, the dad wanted to divorce her bc he had a pregnant mistress. So I imagine it wasn't easy, and she had a hard time accepting that. She ended up having to leave and didn't have an easy time, until she married the man she was working for.

Was talking with inpectormarge abt it. I wonder if by then the relationship in whatever form between ML mom and FL dad, could be of help

I feel like her stepdaughter will become soon a problem bc of the situation

Yes, the 1949, with Rosalind Russel.
Hahaha, yep 1938.
I love me some old movies sometimes. There's just something about those black and white movies.
