I think grandpa will be adamant soon about : No triple in laws.
Yeah, I agree with the plot not being dragged. the leads do need to realize they do want to stand firm and together. And there's still so much more going on, that keeps me interested.
I think there is other stuff to compensate for lack of romance. Romance was never the strong point.
It seems to me that it's an issue in that culture. Or at least, that's how it's usually portrayed. And I don't think it has much to do with hatred or disdain... Is it ridiculous to me personally? absolutely. I'd say it's incomprehensible to many ppl in many cultures. But maybe, there, and for them it's not.

True. *if*
If she isn't I guess it's another way to prolong the mess. But, the leads being opposed bc the families don't want to be double in laws is actually to be expected.
Sadly, apparently it's a usual issue in these dramas. I still hope that we'll see advances soon

There has been progress. Lots imo. In each of the families and between them. Also the relationships between the FL's parents. Between JuA and her mom. Between Seri and her family. Eun Bin. Aunt-Uncle. Now, the leads need to realize they do want to be together and go for it. If SeongMi gets a clean bill of health, i think they won't doubt to confront the grandad and his outdated views.

But I think now it's not about family feud anymore...now it's more the usual "families can't mingle to much" plot. And yes, it's annoying that the leads are still not together but I hope it won't take long now. Also, what can change Ml's grandpa's mind? Bc i don't think the FL's family will protest much now
The comments here are so harsh. The story isn’t even that bad to deserve this criticism. Just because the leads…
I think some ppl forget that this is a family drama, so romance it’s never the main focus. Also, I think the leads will need to start working together again for them to work through their feelings. And maybe now that grandpa is found and the family complete, the dynamic will help change the parents minds.
ML grandpa can go to his wife if he’s so opposed lol

While I agree that the leads have great chemistry and it’s sad to see them not together, I think ppl forget that this is not a romance drama. It’s a FAMILY drama. Which means other characters with significant storylines and conflicts that aren’t necessarily between the main couple. I do hope the leads start getting closer again with the company mess and maybe even secretly getting back together but I fear it will take some episodes still.
The company plot feels so unnecessary to me, they could focus on U Jae and Eunbin in that time :(
You are right there. There has been a lot of change in the way SeongMi relates to the family and it's obvious they have all become closer. Her relationship with her children and husband is already more meaningful than before, so maybe that was all they needed for the plot

I hope that the grandma and chairman dying is enough and if they go with the cancer plot, she gets better at some point. I think it'd ruin a great drama if SeongMi were to d*e in the end.
I hope the others’ theory is right that Jun Hyeok is trying to play Director Baek, because I don’t want Jun…
So far the drama has been consistently good. Not taking too long with unresolved issues and characters that have grown. so I hope it continues that way.
I wuld find it very strange if the writer decides to make Jun Hyeok really side with Director Baek, so I actually think he and prob Hyun Bin have some plan. Bc in the preview it seems that only the VP and Ju Ah are confronting Jun Hyeok.
Also, Granpa's reunion with the rest of the family will probably bring some plots, bc he has missed so muchl. For 30 yrs he has thought he was someone else and suddendly he has a wife and 2 adult kids and a bunch of other ppl that know him. So, even if he recovers his memories, I think it will take some episodes.
And finally, the one plot that I don't like much...SeongMi's cancer. I hope the writer keeps been consistent with the way they've presented us the plots so far and doesn't resort to a "she's in a terminal" phase suddenly and bc of that, the couples get together and everyone has a semi happy ending.
He's not entirely bad, but rn the one more opposed to being double in laws.

That's how I see it.

If not, he can join his wife in heaven and then maybe there won’t be such a problem.
Bc I think we’re heading for a triple in-laws mess. XD
