Ordinary enemies to lovers full of fluff

This is light, fluffy, filled with hilarious comedy, and easily digest for the brainless me who hate heavy story. !!Only for those who need to refresh their mind with simple-story series!!
Story 8/10, I personally love enemies to lovers trope with light conflict especially misunderstanding that made my heart aches once or twice cause I hate angst but I want to cry a bit, and I hate thinking too much when watching a series.
Acting 7/10, not the great great one but already facing the right direction. Special shout out to Tod for his gaze and his hilarious act, I enjoyed this series mostly because of him and how "real" his eyes are. I appreciate the "sip pal (re: numbers in korea)" scene but for some scene I did ask myself "am I watching prn?". I think there's no need to go that far.
Music 7/10, love the music in ep8 when Sky kissed Vee's hand after they made up ㅠㅠ but the music for the "sip pal" scene are comedic :")
Rewatch? Yes, absolutely. But maybe 2x speed and some skips.
By the way...
It's been so long since I feel like missing a Thai series right after the series ended, the "IT'S END ALREADY?! I WANT MORE" feeling.

Living lie detector? Hell yeah I'm here for it

Love the idea about hearing lie and make money from that, THAT'S PURE GENIUS. I always love this kind of fantasy, sumn like Bongsoon or Girl Who See Smell. Interesting checked✅️

THIS IS WHERE THINGS GOT HEATED

Love Sohyun's acting, don't know if I'm being biased or sumn because I love her since forever. But Minhyun's acting is a mild no. Not good but not that bad actually but clearly needs more acting classes. Chemistry? 404 not found. Chemistry between the handsome fans and Syaon are way way much greater, would love to see those two in another drama.

Storyline...hmm...pretty understandable, the flow is enjoyable, and contains an unpredictable shocking plot twist. But the moment I finished it, I don't remember much of the story. I feel the "what was that again?" moment after watching this.

Do I want to rewatch it? Yes, but only the scenes where Sohyun did her job as lie detector, it's fascinating to see. Rewatching whole drama? No, I'm good watched it once.

What a toxic relationship

Weatherman? Good idea.
Weatherman x mangaka? Damn interesting.
Surprisingly toxic 5 stars weatherman love life? Sht up I will definitely watch it.

BUT LITTLE DID I KNOW

Strange...weird...the fk is this?
Story is weird but I strangely wanna know what's next, what kind of crazy action they'd do in the next episode. The misunderstanding is the most annoying thing in this drama, it is happening in every damn episode, and there's always new misunderstanding everyday like is this a story about how love could happen even without a proper communication? Like hell that'd happened __-

Next, the toxicity is mind blowing oh my goodness gracious. The relationship is too toxic, leads are walking redflags. Obsession, overly controlling behaviour, to sexual harrassment, all that you can find in this so called masterpiece✨️ What a great idea, yeah?? If you can't stand overly toxic romance then STAY AWAY FROM THIS DRAMA! I'm warning ya.

Acting...not that good but I can feel what they want to deliver. The acting might looks boring and makes you sleepy but that's how it supposed to be so prepare your coffee☕️

Music not my taste and forgettable. What I remember is the cricket sound effect and the typical piano instrumental for morning days in dorama.

Do I want to rewatch this? Yes but not all episodes, just the hot steamy- KIDDING!! Maybe only the "nagi" ep or any ep with their university days bcs the leads younger self were too shining shimmering splendid.

Do I recommend this? Well this is an enjoyable one time watch so what do you waiting for? Just watch it.

Meh guys it's meh

hmmm imo this is meh but nice try. Love the ost but that's it.
Overall Acting 5/10, they are new so it's understandable, the 2 main leads are better tho.
Story 5/10, soap-opera-like, weird conflict, badly written, see it yourself and you'll understand.
Videography 5/10, editing is not good esp the sunset's sky ㅠㅠ inconsistent tone, and weird + boring camera angle for many parts.
Their feelings feels rushed and forced, no development whatsoever, immediately jumps to i love you, how epic :")

IT'S A PERFECTION until I watched the 2 final episodes

YO! I read the manga and the drama is exactly the "living version" of the manga EXCEPT for the latter ep. I know reading the ongoing manga first before watching the actual drama version could make a biased perspective at some point but because this is what we called LIVE ACTION I can't help but compare the drama with the manga.
Ok, soooo...
I'm surprised at how the drama could copy the manga PERFECTLY (especially in the first 3 or 4 episodes). Like bruhhh this is it! It's what you called LIVE ACTION! This is how live action should be done. I really enjoyed it and am just so excited to see what I had read before become alive and their voice match perfectly with the characters. The actors are surely capable of acting. They could bring the exact same vibes from the manga to life which is a hard thing to do for actors. I also loved the soundtrack very much, they all sooo good periodt.
And now my disappointment about this drama...
The 9th and the final episode feel...empty and boring. Those eps definitely lack in the storyline and are not that exciting to watch. The storyline is not the same as the manga and unfortunately the replacement story (drama) is not as good as the original (manga). And when it ended I was like, "Is that all? Just like that?!?!". It could have been wrapped more beautifully even if it's not the same as the manga, but they can't do that and I'm a bit disappointed because THIS DRAMA IS SO GOOD. Such a pity for the final episode but believe me, WATCH THIS DRAMA AND YOU'LL HAVE A BRIGHT-FLOWERY DAYS.
...
I wish I could watch the *scene from chapter 29 but well the manga is still ongoing and I know there'd be a 2nd season. I JUST KNOW.

Good camera for a badly written series which then made by slowmo addicts, what a waste

The casts talked too slow! Too much unnecessary slow motion! I don't think the editors understand the 10 seconds rule in shooting technique, so many scenes are boring to watch because of that reason. The story is NOT RICH, it's mainstream, boring, not deep, the way they connect the story is also weird, and just visible that it's badly written. The actors's acting skills is not good, except Aek, Aue, and Aek's Mom. The main couple (Aue and Aek) is good, they're cute together, their chemistry was there but sometimes it seems more like brothers chemistry, not a lovers. The 2nd couple (Vich and Prem) has no chemistry at all, it's so weird to watch :(( I personally love all of their soundtracks and their cinematography, but FOR WHAT? if the main components of this series are way far from the good sign.

Conclusion:
If you planned on wasting your time then watch this.

Note:
The last ep (ep 11) is my favorite from this series, because they talked in a "normal" way and Aue looks so cute. That's the only reason :)

Unnecessary long duration for "love" scenes

They are going overboard with the love scenes. I mean it's okay to put a bit of love scene to make this series "spicier" but we all know "too much never taste good". I watch with no interest, my face becomes flat, and I decided to skip it. There's even a time when I stopped watching this series for weeks because the amount of love scenes annoys me so much.

STORY
The story is so-so, not bad but not that good. Plot is fine, not messy. I appreciate their ep 0 to make sure everyone who doesn't watch Tharntype S2 (like me) could still understand their backstory and enjoy the series to the fullest. Shortly, it's about best friends who are actually in love with each other but have no courage to say so, their cowardness then leads them to misunderstand each other and ruins their relationship. I actually interested in the conflict Fiat had with his family, but the execution is not as good as I thought it would be. "Boring" is not a harsh word at all to describe the overall story.

ACTING
Obviously not great, just okay. Awkwardness is still there, weirdness is still there, everyone can tell they are new in the industry (except the older cast, they're indeed great actors).

SONG
The opening is more ear-catching than the ending song, the ending song is not my cup of tea. ALSO, why the ending MV is so weird and cringe...? whyyyyyy :((

I'm not recommending this drama and I won't rewatch all episodes, but there's a possibility I'll rewatch scenes of Leon and P'Pob, they're cute.

It's cringe but I keep watching it :)

In my dictionary, there are 2 types of cringe, the disgusting cringe and the funny cringe. This series fortunately is the funny cringe type. Even if it's cringing it will keep your eyes on until the last ep cause it's fun to watch.

STORY
As expected from mini series, the story is lacking. There's no connection between ep, the plot is messy, which could be confusing for some people. I know they want to portray how best friend could become a lover because they spend too much time together (from work, play, etc) but how they deliver it through a story is still lacking soo much. There's no such thing as feelings development whatsoever, it's a complete mess. In such a short duration they also try hard to add a conflict but it goes wrong and becomes the weirdest ep of this series (EP 10).

ACTING
I'd say their acting skills aren't great, just okay. Even so, it's still enjoyable.

SONG
They used so many korean songs and I love it lol. Since I know a lot of these songs, I could say they used them at the right time and moment. Their choice of songs is one of the biggest factors this drama is fun to watch imo.

Overall, it's just a so-so series but not bad to watch for those who are not patient enough to wait for The Tuxedo. It's also fun to watch which could make your mood better (that works for me). It's just 12 eps with 1 min duration for each ep so why not give it a go? You can watch it here https://www.tiktok.com/@thaiminiseries/video/7008855445670530330?lang=en&is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1

Light drama with a surprisingly heavy backstory

I'm out of words. It started as a refreshing, fluffy, and light drama but the unexpected twist at the latter ep would leave you jaw-dropped. *kidding*. Let's say "shocked". Since the beginning, I'm not expecting anything heavy from this drama at all. I thought it'd be slice-of-lifey, kind of like Reply, but mannn I was wrong. Let's jump to the full review based on my point of view.

STORY
This drama defines "every charming-flawless-like guy has their own dark secret" perfectly. Starting smoothly with no major problems, from introducing every cast in the first episode, and then circulating in Chief Hong-Hyejin life. I love that this drama gave every cast a perfect amount of screentime and their own story, so there's a complexity and also a variety of struggles everyone's facing from any background. I'm surprised they also included an LGBT topic here, and it's even an L, how rare. And they even brought up mental health issues... but it doesn't feel as heavy as I think it'd be, just making me cry a lil bit too much and got a headache. In the end, it's not a light drama.

ACTING
I have nothing bad to say, I'm not going to critique any of them, they're ALL great actors. Not only 1 2 or 3 of them but ALL OF THEM are great actors. From the oldest to the youngest did their job really well, they all sure can act. Actually, I was surprised by Bora and I-jun's acting skills, like how could they act so well at such young age?! For Kim Seon Ho, he is incredible, I'm glad his talent is now recognized by the world :( As for Shin Min Ah...as long as I could remember, she could act very well BUT I THINK in this drama there are still lacks here and there. I don't know if that's how she's supposed to act like but somehow for some scenes, I feel it looked too much and a bit unnatural(?) yet still manageable. Honorable mention for Hwa Jeong, Gam Ri, Nam Sook, and Yun Kyung, they're amazing! I won't forget Hwa Jeong's umbrella scene, Gam Ri's telephone scene with her son, Nam Sook's loss, and Yun Kyung's shoelaces scene.

OST
I'm a fan of this drama's ost! Especially the one sung by Sandeul and Seungmin. Dammmnnn those are good song, bruh. Just my style.

OVERALL
This drama is worth the wait. It meets my high expectation. An excellent story delivered by great actors, what's more to ask? Maybe more episodes? That'd be interesting. Am I going to rewatch it? OF COURSE! I will back for Hong Banjangggg~~ 9.5/10 is not overrated I think.

GOOD BUT TOO F* SHORT

Another waste of talent. Too good to be this short, I know this could've been a lot better if only it had a longer duration. Even in that short period of time, this drama could deliver how the Barista's feeling developed towards the "special customer". I personally love this kind of story about when social media life meets real life, it's kind of making me nervous in a good way. The minus is I still could felt an awkwardness in one particular scene which was the "smoking scene". It looked so unnatural when the Barista suddenly joined the "special customer" who smoked outside, and especially the "cigarette scene"! WHO ON EARTH DOING THAT TO A RANDOM PERSON FOR GOD'S SAKE. If only this movie was a bit longer maybe they would tell us the reason behind how the "cigarette scene" could happen. Speaking of their acting skills, I'd say it's just good, I still sense an awkwardness but just a bit, and their chemistry are still there. Am I going to rewatch this? Definitely yes.

A short and packed to-the-point BL story you rarely find

Short doesn't mean bad. I'm a bit surprised that it's not too fast-paced like the other short BL drama. I like that this drama is also to the point and so focused only on 1 couple which is the main couple, they only added scenes that were important to show the main couple's feeling development. As for the story...hmm I'm not really a fan, it's just so-so, not that interesting, nothing new, and not complex at all. For the acting, I think they're not that bad, but Kim Yoo Hwan (Eungyu) is surely a great actor and def in a different league compared to the other casts. I love their OSTs, the lyrics suits the drama. Because this was short and to the point, I will rewatch it again to refresh my mind.

This reminds me of Maze Runner but in Money Heist X P.E Class costumes

I thought it would be interesting from start to end but nah I was wrong.
I thought it would be very new and different from other k-thriller dramas but nah I was wrong again. It is actually a clever idea to combine two phenomenal movies' ideas into 1 drama, and the idea of using childhood games as the main focus here is insane. I never thought child's games could be this dangerous. Set aside the clever idea, I personally hate the "blood" they're using, it looks too fake.
To be honest...
I really loved the overall drama...at first, but I lost bit by bit of my interest after the 1st half of the total episodes. As the episodes went on, this drama felt ordinary and bland. I became numb seeing their fighting and killing scenes, it happened too often and became boring (not to mention the ridiculous blood they're using, too watery!). I expect this drama to be different but it turns out as one of Netflix's typical k-crime action thriller drama with a hanging ending and lots of untold truth. Maybe there'd be S2? that'd be good, I'm not that interested tho.
Conclusion: that's okay, just give it a go, it's exciting.
Last but not least, WI HA JOON I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK!

What a funny yet talented cops!

I actually watched this in two parts (30-minutes and 80-minutes) but that didn't decrease the mood and the enjoyment that has been set by this movie at all. I still remember vividly what was the 1st 30-minutes about. That's one of the signs of how good this movie is. There's nothing new about the overall story, but I really appreciate the way this movie portrays the "unique" friendship between different teams in the same police department. I mean it's still rare (I think) because what I've always found in this kind of genre was the high tension, over-competitiveness, and hatred growing between teams in the same department or even in the whole police office like, "are all police an enemy in the blanket for each other or what??". And for the acting skills...THEY ALL NAILED IT AS I EXPECTED. I laughed a lot, smiled a lot, and also THRILLED A LOT. No bad actors could make me feel that way. Overall it's a really GOOD MOVIE. Not too much but not too less, just a perfect dose of seriousness and hilariousness "for me". I don't know why the rating is only 8.3 on MDL. After all, people have different tastes and I'm not one who enjoyed the too-serious type of movie, so this movie is just perfect for me. I really enjoyed it and will respectfully rewatch it.

Gets a little boring near the end but I still love it overall

It is an ordinary school romance drama with a love triangle thing as one of the main conflicts. But, despite the mainstream plot they have, I think this drama is so WELL-MADE. I'd say it's the first Korean proper-BL-drama in history. From how clear and high quality the cinematography is, how the story goes without feeling rushed at all and ended up having 16 ep (that was long), and the soundtrack...they collab with A.C.E, I repeat THEY COLLAB WITH A.C.E!! Everyone knows how big A.C.E is right now and how good the soundtrack is (the title is SPARK by A.C.E). Anyway, as I've mentioned in my headline it doesn't feel rushed at all but otherwise, it gets boring near the end because of their slow-solved-problem method when it's completely predictable.

About the acting skills, none of them I consider as bad. No one. They are all good actors but Kang Yoo Seok and Go Woo Jin are above the other casts in terms of acting skills. I mean there were times when I found their acting was A BIT awkward, just A BIT but visible (not really disturbing, tho).

Overall, I LOVE IT! I know I said it gets boring near the end but as soon as it ends I already miss them and want to rewatch it.

*For your information, if a drama makes you miss them already as soon as it ends that means that drama is GOOD.*

[ Warning! This drama can be boring for some people who love complex or huge conflict in a drama ]
I regret it... I think I just missed an opportunity to have a wonderful time talking about this drama when it was still airing back then in 2020 (I was so into BL that I have no time watching K-dramas). I'm beyond glad to myself for deciding to watch and complete the 1st season when the 2nd season was still airing so I can hype this drama together with my friends and people out there. It is the kind of drama that will HEAL you, this drama itself is a HEALER! It's a light slice-of-life drama with small-fast-resolved conflict and a fluttering + heartwarming rom-com which I genuinely like.

STORY
I love how they try to portray a completely different type of doctor's life and just generally picture how's hospital's life. Its genre is slice-of-life and I really can relate to a lot of them especially when Jang Gyeo Ul often being misjudged by people because of her "outer character". That's harsh but it's really happening until this day in our society and could be even worse day by day. I also like how they brought various misunderstanding issues that always happened between doctors and patients/patients' families. It makes me understand both sides more. Not to mention how they also fed us with a perfect-strong-friendship kind of relationship that makes me missed my friends more than ever. In conclusion, this drama gives the viewers not only a story but also a lot of life lessons which is worth watching.

ACTING
All of them are BEYOND GREAT actors. The main characters can pull off any kind of acting, from happy, sad, crazy, angry, etc. they ALL nailed it perfectly, FLAWLESS. I really loved when actors could deliver their feelings through their eyes, that's how I know whether they are great, bad, or so-so. And OH GOD, all of their eyes could talk! Even the support actors and the guest actors are all AMAZING. Absolutely nothing to criticize.

MUSIC
I honestly not really a fan of that 90s-thing-music-genre, but I think that kind of music matches perfectly with this drama to bring us back to their university days and let us also feel how it's like back then with the help from their cinematography. It's nostalgic and somehow feels warm to listen to and watch.

OVERALL
I LOVED THIS DRAMA SO MUCH! It's no doubt my cup of tea.
