That was so badly done of XYE. I don't know how they will redeem her. From the ending song, it appears as if they become teammates later.

I was spoiled in weibo and through the end credits that she will help them and be a good character but her ending is doubtful.

I was able to finish three of her dramas in which she was the lead, The Sleepless Princess, Unforgettable Love and A River Runs Through It. My all time favourite dramas, i really like them and recommend them.

It's frustrating, yes. I don't know if she has romantic scenes with this character. But she does have some couple scenes with Daddi Tang and they look good together. So I'm hoping the drama doesn't make the physician a romantic interest but rather just a good friend.

Yes that's where I saw it. I cannot help but feel like it's deliberate. So that her looks, acting and her chemistry with her love interest doesn't overshadow anything else. I hope it's not this but then what could really be the reason when even cheap microdramas have better looking people?

Okay, i officially ship CL and HYX as well. I hope they lead a drama together in the future. I firstly loved the scene where he scares her and kind of psychologically manipulates her. I think CL excels at these kinds of dark scenes and HYX is the quintessential pure and innocent damsel in distress. That dynamic of a dark hero and innocent damsel is so delicious.
Secondly the preview of episode 14 is soo funny omg. I can't wait to see the actual scene but they have chemistry lol. I also loved the scene of WCR biting that apple hahaha.

I wish the romance would pick up in this drama. I think it will get better in the upcoming episodes, fingers crossed, but so far romance is definitely far below in the list of priorities.

Yes it's that CDL drama I had wrote about earlier, the doll one. Hopefully after she wraps this one, she'll get a definitive lead role opposite a handsome and talented ML.

Yes, he's very convincing as an antagonist, drips malice literally. And the other characters are also afraid of him, especially the girls, which makes it even more believable.

I am so impressed by the intelligence and foresight of the FL and ML so far. They're so discerning and thoughtful.

I didn't mean Love Never Fails, I meant Reading Bones drama. She even did Irreplaceable after LNF, which was okay. But now that she has wrapped a drama in which she is FL, i thought that would just keep on developing her trajectory. SFL role at this point feels like a step back again. I don't think it's a well charted career plan for her. I hope her recent popularity with HDY helps to launch her the way Lu Yu Xiao, Yang Yu Tong, Dai Lu Wa and Xu Ro Han's prospects improved. They were also not that well known but they're doing exclusively lead roles now. I hope HYX's career planning is also done properly.

Episode 7 makes me weirdly ship CL and HYX, although the back lighting is atrocious (maybe on purpose so that we don't ship them too hard lol)
