I am crying right now, so filled with all the emotions. I am sad, mad, disgusted, etc with all the villains in…
What I hated about MW's mom also is that she had her doubts about her daughter's pregnancy for days and even if she didn't she could've given her the medicine afterwards as well. But she purposefully chose the day of the trial to carry it out which prevented MW from going to the trial and speaking in favour of RL. If she had gone, then the other girl Ms. Guo also would've had the courage to speak up and it would've made RL's case stronger.
Some controversy over taxes for FL Song Zu Er. Don't hold your breath on any of her associated series, films,…
Her official account nor her company have made any official statement refuting that accusation so it's a bit doubtful whether she is completely in the clear. However, official body which looks into tax evasion cases like these have also not made any public statement as they normally do (as they did in Deng Lun's case and most recently in Crystal Yuan's case) so it's still unclear what's the verdict. Most likely, as you said, all her unreleased work will probably not see the light of day
I like the juxtaposition of everything unraveling and devolving in the past (7 years ago) versus everything slowly starting to come together and building towards justice in the present (7 years later) . It makes for a thrilling and emotional rollercoaster ride. I wish I'd started this drama after it had finished airing, the storytelling would've shined more in a marathon.
Meng Wan's mother is just awful. She's hellbent on making her daughter live as bad a life as she does. The woman…
Actually, I was a bit surprised by RL's parents initially. They supported her for longer than I would've thought. The society of that time was much different from today and in those days, a woman's reputation was everything. The fact that their daughter lost her reputation by taking such a bold step against the culprit, I actually thought her parents would nip it in the bud and force her to marry WL in the first instance. But they were a firm support behind her till she was "disproved" In court due to trickery. I thought that was quite a fresh take on parents in ancient China
His acting and dialogue delivery is so good. It was a pleasant surprise since he was not known to me before this…
I think this drama doesn't have a lot of budget for its promotion. I think they spent their money in all the right places like the script, casting, styling and cinematography...leaving them very little for promotion, it's promotion and publicity is all over the place tbh.
who is that girl? If they can replace, I dont mind. But will they?
This is a fan video and they've suggested maybe 6 to 8 actresses as a replacement. Don't know what will happen in the end. The project looked promising and I really want to see LYN in a lead role in period drama. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽
I love him so much i recently watch the "a River runs through it" can anyone suggest a series like this i can't…
I was like this in 2021 . I followed the drama as it was airing and it was torture to wait for the new episodes. Plus I couldn't move on after the drama finished airing.🥺 i really love and miss my TuJu CP 😍🥺

Got goosebumps when he said "Hands off her" So far all actors are so convincing in their acting. Ep 7 was heartbreaking, Ru Lan and Shen Mu made everything so believable
I was wandering where I was watching SFL as her face looked so familiar…, I can't believe it, she was the FL…
It's one of my most favorite cdramas and couples too!!! I love that drama so much, really miss seeing her as a part of a romantic lead couple, the chemistry is so good 😍 she always looks more beautiful in period dramas with that kind of makeup and hair, in ARRTI they went for a more natural, no makeup kind of look since she was your average teenager in the 90s in that drama
I like this kind of unusual (for historical C-drama) storytelling. I you take your time to watch attentively,…
True. It's a breath of fresh air. Quite different from the saturated market of cdramas. I liked today's episode. It was filled with so many ups and downs, quite thrilling tbh.
I like some of the callbacks in the drama. Will make the rewatch more interesting. Like callback to the unique embroidery worn by MW in ep 2, callback to Ding Ru's mother telling RL that life matters the most, callback to other girls speaking in favour of WL to save their reputation. Hence I find the two timelines interesting. I hope it continues this pacing and storytelling.
Seven Unfortunate Lifetimes suffered from the Unfortunate curse of having a crappy drama adaptation. I wish people would not touch IPs unless they're completely dedicated and faithful to the material like Untamed, TMOPB, TLBFAD, etc
Rip this drama 😭 i am so looking forward to this because finally Liu Yu Ning become the main lead in historical…
Actually from what I've seen on YouTube during Deng Lun's case was that China is pretty lenient with tax evasion and gives plenty of prior notice and advance warnings. No idea why this still happens. There's also a provision for paying late fee and clearing all dues before it becomes public knowledge
