In fact many netizens in China said that the government was harsher with YBY because she tried to stand up to them and argue her case. The amount quoted in YBY's case is way less than SZE's case, from what I've gathered. But the govt came down very hard upon YBY since it goes against the Chinese policy of reflecting on your wrongdoing amd repenting or some such. This is what I'd found on weibo. So in a way it's a good thing SZE hasn't said anything. But people are speculating that she would've refuted the rumours if it weren't true, the fact that she has not means that there must be some truth in her allegations.

In YBY's case, the govt posted an official announcement about her sentence almost a year after her initial allegations. Same might be the case with SZE. Fans think that the fact that no official statement has come from her agency or even SZE herself, it's a silent indication of her culpability. She has become completely inactive since then, both online and offline. Hence it seems difficult that her projects will be aired. Oh well, I was really looking forward to this one.

Those are just rumours. I don't think SZE's dramas will also ever air. China is very strict about tax evasion and these cases are only filed after giving repeated notices. All other actors caught in tax evasion scandals have never been able to come back. I don't think SZE can either.

I'm sure lot of people were looking forward to that. But who knew YBY would have a tax scandal which brought all her projects to a standstill. However, other actors and crew members should not suffer because of one person's mistake. This drama has a lot of investors and budget, I think, which is why they can afford to reshoot. YBY's other projects are not even that lucky.
LXY's fans in China are calling HYX his saviour since because of her entry, they can at least get to see him as a ML in a big budget fantasy drama. Otherwise this drama would be permanently shelved like all other projects of YBY.

It is annoying. I hope HYX gets more great FL roles, but I also hope she gets to make a choice and is not bound to take whatever is offered to her. She has made good choices with her scripts so far and has shined in all her projects pretty much. I also wish for her accelerated growth , fingers crossed. Regarding ZYC and WZM, they're her seniors i think in c ent and in fact they also didn't get a lot of work prior to 2019-20 ... In fact WZM was often relegated to side characters only. C ent is so saturated and so traffic driven that good actors have to struggle for years before getting good work.

Yeah no hate to the other actress and I would love to see her as an FL in a major production, but if you see the MDL page of LNF, so many fans are unhappy with the prospect of a replacement actress. I just don't want it to negatively affect HYX, who deserves the world. Hope it all turns out well for all the parties involved.

Yes, I think she's not being promoted/managed properly... I don't think it has anything to do with her major. There are so many idol actors who didn't get a degree in acting, are mediocre actors, and still getting roles left and right
