Of course the next step is to attack my person. What an amazing debater you truly are. The fact that nobody likes their partner being close the other sex is unmistakable and I agree. However, why are you making it sound like Tao Tao always has a man beside her, you make it sound like she’s always jumping at the next opportunity to be close to another man. Tao has had 2 moments were it might have been questioned, the ex and her friend. The ex was not ok, she should have asked her partners opinion before deciding anything concerning that, SYZ tho I do not agree with. She never crossed any lines concerning him and she has only been supportive as his friend. She was not aware that he had feelings for her because she knew her friend had feelings for him and she believed that he saw her as a friend as well. They barely saw each other except when in groups or working in 西北. I feel like you do not understand the concept of a friend, if the friend has a crush on you then it changes but as Tao is not aware of this fact until the very last moment, she should not be faulted for another persons feeling for her.

I agree that she has not gone through much character development regarding how she acts in her relationship, all she goes through is career development, and she does not fully acknowledge him as a partner as much as he does. That is true. However, the situation between Luke and his friend and Flora and her friend is in no way different. Are you telling me that SYZ didn’t know that Flora had a boyfriend? He very much did, he was aware since the very beginning and that was probably why he didn’t try to follow through with his feelings. Just because it was obvious to us that he liked her doesn’t mean it was obvious to her, she probably realized it at that point when he admitted that he sent the flowers but the situation called for her not to care at the time . This guy admitted to her that he was NOT OK mentally, physically… In that situation would your first reaction be to think “oh I shldnt give him false hope”. No it would not. The hug was not particularly necessary but she should not be faulted for doing so. The problem here mostly was Luke’s reaction to it. They’ve been in a relationship for 6 years and you cannot afford your partner some basic trust???? You cannot communicate with your partner what you feel? Why is that being excused on the basis of oh she does not respect him? She may not be the best but the fact that you are excusing Luke’s behaviour which has not changed nor matter how much character development he has apparently been through is ridiculous. He changes because he realises how much he likes her and wants to be with her, he starts to respect her because he sees her growing and becoming a better version of herself but throughout this, not once has he trusted her.

I would say that I do not fully agree with some of the comments about Luke. You could say he puts in effort but I think for the most part it’s the audience that sees his efforts, not Flora. This man has the nastiest mouth in the whole world, at first he barely ever said anything approximately nice to Flora and from Flora’s perspective, she didn’t know if this was someone that she could fully trust with herself. Every single thing he had to say was always hurtful in some way or another and it takes time to realise that this person is trying to help me and his method may just be wrong. However, that doesn’t change the fact that it would be hard to trust him because he basically never communicates his feelings, he is with her yes, he loves her yes, but does she know that? Does she know to what extent? It is later in the show that he begins to actually talk or show it. Flora of course has very very HUGE avoidance issues, mixed signals… but think Flora did put a lot more effort in the relationship than this displays.

I don’t understand tho, the problem is that she hugged the guy??? This guy was going through so much with his mom dying and his whole depression and stuff and yet she was not allowed to give him a hug??? I understand being jealous and all but isn’t the point to be able to communicate with your partner? If he has a problem with it then he should be able to talk it out with her not just be mad and storm off. There’s also the lack of trust. You should be able to trust your partner to only have you in mind no matter the situation and he doesn’t seem to have that. When Luke hugged his female friend, nobody seemed to have a problem with that so why is this a problem?? I’m not saying Flora is the most amazing gf but I think helping your friend should not be hindered by you being in a relationship (no matter the gender of the friend) and also she didn’t know this guy liked her at the time, this was just her being there for her friend. Why is that wrong?

I'm not saying that this was the best way to portray the scene but what it's supposed to show is their sadness at losing someone they considered a brother, what did you expect them to do? run away? while they're surrounded by those people? Where would they run to?? And it is called sorrow, extreme sadness and hopelessness which made him cry out "why are they doing this to us". Its not because he was completely factually unaware of why, it was because in that moment when the goons were trying to light them on fire there was no other way to express how completely unfair the situation was and how helpless he/they felt. They just lost someone very dear to them and so that does have an effect on how they currently see things.

I completely agree😭😭😭. In the end it just felt like everything was so rushed for no reason. The ending was good to some extent, but it could have been better.
