A story is only as good as it's Villain. This is Excellent!

it's been more than a few years since I have seen this and just came across it here, which made me decide to rewatch. I am not into comedy at all but I have such fond memories of this drama.

this is one of my 2 favorite online historical chinese novels. the other being 'The devious First Daughter'. wish they would make that a drama with a good director.

a villainous mysterious character with murderous intent. the younger brother to the Emporer. He is very powerful and scheming. The Emporer is very way of him. He uses the FL to help in his schemes from the inner courtyards , but helps her in her difficulties more than anything. She is reborn and out for revenge. It's my favorite Chinese historical novel to date. I just stumbled across it on Wattpad.

best one yet. Great drama

ML is a mysterious powerful evil prince. nephew of the emporer. kind of an antihero who uses the female lead initially in his schemes. She is reborn and after revenge in her family....and he helps her behind the scenes. Great book.

I am guessing they either ran out of money or cast just never showed up to finish filming.most unresolved end I have ever seen.waste of time. Story was pretty boring too. Shame because I feel the ML has talent...I can see this actor getting better roles.

Her tantrum also had to do with immaturity and her first heartbreak. learning that she wasn't the center of his universe....as she was so used to men fawning and orbiting around her. It was her wake up call and her growing pains. She was right that he was not honest with her though. She did a 180 quickly though until she realized it wouldn't work because in the end....they wanted different things and neither was willing to compromise. I believe Fang was a rebound and her settling because in the beginning he offered her the opposite of her first love. He said he'd quit his job for her....he did everything for her...orbiting around her. I think she felt pity too. So, again....learning pains....let's see what happens...I am only up to ep 26-27.
