It is getting opposed because the manhwa it is adapted from feautres some of the most controversial takes including calling a black student the n word and many misogynistic aspects as well. Mind you this is a story written by a korean person. They have no reason to write the n word in to the story. There are many other problematic aspects too if you had just taken the time to look them up.

Further more, corporal punishment shouldn't be default in the education system. There are better measures that arent properly implemented. Instead of working towards that, going back to the same beat someone and fix it, isnt going to fix anything in long term.

I agree with taking fiction as fiction. But saying this drama is a bench mark for how real life education system should be is an insane take.

I also agree that the manhwa is different from the drama. But you cant deny the place it come from and how glorifying it and promoting it also gives exposure to the problematic manhwa it is based on.

Finished it. I cried my eyes out. It was a greattt queer series. The ending gives "house" ending loll. But i am happy they are together and happy.

Its a queer series. During mid it did give bromance vibes but moving toward ends, their feelings were actually visible.

The story itself tbh. Idk how much inpit the actors had on the story and developing but the story does not explicitly state anything. This isnt written like a traditional bl from korea or japan.

But felt more like queer series where 2 individuals find comfort in each other. I do believe they are in love. They say it too

Not really for the people who wants traditional kdrama romance. But as someone who has been tired of many romance dramas that has been churned out in the last couple years, tjis drama is really great so far. The comedy works great. The chemistry is amazing as well. And the story is wildly unpredictable. This is on top of my ongoing list for now

honestly I really like the actress. been rooting for her since sweet revenge. but I will wait till the drama finishes. probably won't watch it if there is any romance. because even if she is not a minor, the power dynamic between a highschool student and a teacher is not for me.

Is it an adapted story?? And fs will have a minor- teacher romance?? In this day and age?? Like even if they get together after she graduates or turns 18, its still prblematic. Cuz its literally grooming. And these are the shows that teenagers watch. They shouldnt be romantasizing ts.

Just finished the movie. Started watching the min after it released. Damnnn an amazing experience. That train scene was beautifully shot and the climax was amazing as well. The chemistry was fireee i couldnt stop smilinggg
