not even like the same. atleast the father was there for him and supported thr child when he needed it. But she literally just ignored all her responsibilities and just went after her work. Then blamed the father.
Why do you consider the show a mess? What's messy about it?
oh sure we can. I did see a really good chemistry between them so I can't relate to your point. while I agree we do get drama like empress ki and stuff, I am also saying for me this was a compelling romance with obstacles that was done right. and I understand our point of differences.

This isn't a second season but rather a part 2. Filmed together but airing separately. And this is one of the few korean historicals that actually portray some realism instead of relying on fusion seaguk and unnecessary slapstick comedy. I understand this drama can't be toeveryone's taste, but don't go calling something a mess just because you can't root for characters and u don't find age gaps comfortable. Also no need to shame an actor and call him he can be her father.
one thing I don't get is what is the director planning to achieve from getting MH and DS close? was he planning to see if they can give birth to powerful children and train them for the agency? is that why MH left and hid her son?
My gaydar is never wrong...however they are gonna do dirty with singer. It is so obvious.
man same. I felt the vibez even when he stared at JH and GC in the very beginning. and shook it off since historical dramas mostly ignore anything related to gay ppl. only seen handful of dramas like that. but they are including more LGBT themes in historicals. like under the queens umbrella
And makeup. It bugs me when they apply modern style makeup in a historical period drama 🤣 No one wore cakey…
sorry I wasn't talking about the handmaiden director. now that I read my comment again, I understand how that can be interpreted badly. the handmaiden is one of my favorite films ever and park chan wook instantly became my favorite director too. he creates absolute masterpieces.
I was actually talking about jeong nyeon director as I didn't know much about her. but after going through her filmography she directed red sleeve so I hope it will be just as good.
thats what I am scared too. I don't want him to betray anyone. but I also feel sad that if he loves Jang hyun he won't ever be with him. I also ship gil chae and Jang hyun too much atp
right? like I can't shake off this. first the dagger. the gave that dagger to jang hyun. then he lied abt gil chae to Jang hyun. then he was always looking longingly at him. considering this is a historical drama they might never even make it a big deal but I rly can't shake those feeling that he was jealous of gil chae
how r u reviewing when it didn't even come out? if you have an opinion, share it in the comment section. this is for reviews. don't judge something before it is even out.
honestly love the drama tho. Easily became one of my favorite historical
