Overall, I liked it as a mini-series. The fast pace was mainly because it had only a few episodes. However, one…
This was pissing me off so much!!!! I really liked the concept of the superpower having a second side of the coin: ML gets stronger with money, but he loses the money if he uses the power; the guy who predicts the future loses his memory every time he uses power; time travel makes you lose time; the guy who drinks to get his liquid wall superpower fucks up his liver, the telekinesis girl has to eat and loses powers if she didnt eat enough (weirdly her superpower has no negative effects, i feel like this would work better if a bigger actress played this role, so that eating more to be stronger also came with a price and she has to be careful with how much she eats, because the way her power works as is it kinda seems like the best superpower of all... she also could easily get enough calories much quicker if she wanted to, girl get yourself a protein meal replacement drink, no need to spend 15 minutes forcing yourself to eat pastries).
But all the other superpowers that villains get work completely differently: they just work on demand without any limits - no side effects, no caveats. Why would they write it like this?!
I watched the first two episodes, and I enjoyed it, but then the evil girl in a Courrèges jacket appears and it seems like this will be an angsty love triangle and I hate love triangles. I also can't root against a girl who dresses like this, her outfits are so iconic! Can someone tell me without spoilers if she is the evil mean girl or if she is a complex and interesting character who doesn't stress the main couple for no reason? Is the love triangle heavy in this show?
Its a Groundhog Day type of story about a man who keeps repeating the day he avenges his girlfriend's murder, but there is an unexpected twist that i didn't see coming. It's an ok movie, not bad, not super good. It has a pretty slow pacing and a very chill tone, very little dialogue or inner monologue. This style might work for some people and really not work for others. This is not a fun fast paced romp.
This show is stressing me out and I am not rooting for any of these people to get into a relationship... I force myself to keep watching, because all the comments are about how cute the main couple is, but I feel like I am not watching the same show as everyone else. I really like the actors, the casting was on point, they are all very charismatic and funny, but I can't stand how much of the plot relies on the miscommunication trope.
Not sure why the rating is so low, this is a decent "upstairs neighbor noise" movie, I expected something waaay worse from 6,7. If oyu are asking yourself if you should watch it, I would say yes!
I don't know why the rating is so low for this movie, it is a pretty good horror, not worse than any other movie from this subgenre. I was scared watching this and screamed out after a jump scare or two. I would recommend it, don't let the low rating dissuade you!
