I'm not a fan of the jump to the future since that kind of spoils the events in 1988 from the start but I hope they still manage to surprise me. that said the first episode was so good it had my full attention and a lot of stuff from the trailer already happened so I'm very curious what happens next

I agree that side pairings sometimes have more interesting premises but by definition they get less screentime so it feels more rushed and it's hard for me to connect. I just feel not everything needs side parings, especially short dramas. but as I said this one seems promising :)

ep 5 was fun! when I learned there's a second pairing I was like "whyyy" because they're usually unnecessary and inferior but I see potential

yeah it's my only major complaint but probably we wouldn't get the drama at all otherwise

yeah I know and I've been trying to spot a pattern but he seems to be wearing them both when walking somewhere (looking far away) and reading (looking close). but then again maybe he has a minor impairment so he doesn't really /need/ the glasses, they just make things easier. but I'm not complaining I'm just advocating for the look without glasses if he doesn't really need them

I'm confused as to when Chusan needs glasses and when not, seems a bit inconsistent maybe just let him get contacts

I know, I noticed, but it is possible to play a little less privileged character. They do happen and are usually easier to empathise with and that's why I asked

chimera has pretty dark crimes and the same male actor duo. I second mouse, it also features lee heejoon and is reeeally intense

I've watched it now and yes, but that doesn't explain how the detective already knew about it in the previous episode. idk the timelines are confusing but maybe it'll become clear once I finish it

I thought she made some money and gave it all to the company. but then the interest kept rising and she wasn't able to make the money even though she tried, especially when they introduced the limit at the employee sale. and that's why she seemingly chose to kill herself, because she couldn't really make enough money anymore...

When they're trying to solve how Mok Gahui became Sarah Kim, the detective says "She gets 500 million overnight and then commits suicide?" - how does he know she received money and how much? I don't think she wrote that in her suicide note, that would make no sense, as it would make people doubt she killed herself. I don't even know where she got it from, I just remember the ATM scene. Is it because Jung Yeojin told him Sarah bought all those purses with cash later? But then how does he know the exact amount. I must've missed something. // The other question is less important, I'm just wondering about that scene in which all the employees are resting their legs on the wall. It looks like they're relaxing, but is that before work, after? I can't imagine it's a break, since they can't even go pee, let alone rest.

I like his acting but does he have any series where he's not a rich ceo/prince/commander? I feel like he has much more potential than this typecasting
