I don’t know if you noticed a bit of a lacklustre feeling after you finished the novel, then came back to the drama and suddenly your eyes were opened to how bad it was.

Tbh, I watched about 1–13 episodes and then went on a break to read the book, only to come back and realise how dull the characters’ acting was. I didn’t notice it before. It was like my rose-coloured glasses had been taken off, and suddenly everything their actions, attitudes, and emotions felt so rigid.

I don’t know if it was because I read the book in English, but after that, everything in the drama just felt wrong.
