After watching all episodes I am now certain. Leshan and yang xian are indeed my favorite couple and I loved their arc the most. I also feel yang xian had the best character development among the son-in-laws (at least that's how I perceive it). And it really showed us that he isn't a good for nothing but probably still the most accomplished among all the son-in-laws. Also, the dude is a fashion icon, he's always with a new outfit, even more than the 5 sisters themselves 😂

Ok, i'm just gonna say it. I love all the couples but leshan and yang xian are my favorite. And today's episode is hilarious, so far, he immediately became the favorite son-in-law. She's basically treating him like her own son 😂

let's just hope the ML sticks with only 1 lover this time

I know I shouldn't feel like this, but I feel Mao Tou has more chemistry with Qian Jia Yue, at least based on the 1st episodes. Gonna wait to see how the rest will unfold (it's probably me being biased cause I like the opposites attract trope)

Finally chong zao and fu ling. Let's gooo, now that's the kind of simping I can tolerate. Let's just hope both couple get their happy endings unlike tianhu, girl is so unlucky that both the guy she liked and the guy who liked her didn't end up well

why did you assume I was yelling at you or that I am mad. I thought we were having a nice conversation discussing the main points in the drama. Btw I know what you are referring to, I am still talking about the cottage scene way before the dad died. For her, she wasn't certain that her dad would be saved so that night could have actually been the last she saw him if it wasn't for the blood seed. So in her POV, she could have actually her father last moments if ML didn't accept the exchange (she still missed it a 2nd time which why I said SFL made it worse). For me, rather than hating SML, I actually hate his sect, they are even more selfish and brutal than demons and that speaks volumes

she was not running just for a demon, she wanted to be with her father. He died cause she was too late, with SFL making it even worse for her. And SML enforced his protection, if she wants to spend the time with her father even if it endangers her, then he shouldn't have intervened like that. Also, when did I say he deserves death? I am not defending the FL either, she definitely screwed up. I only replied cause you made it seem like SML was innocent. Not a single character in the drama is innocent so far including the leads, all of them made (and are still making) mistakes. The ML is also controlling but the difference is that he's not a hypocrite about it, he even announces it from time to time and doesn't deny it which is more acceptable to the FL cause she knows he's being about it for the stone rather than lying as she herself said that she hates lies

I agree with you, that's also what I noticed based on the released episodes. His kind of protection can be quite suffocating

? she never deemed the ML as trustworthy; she told him herself that she doesn't trust him and knows that's he protecting her for the stone. SML ruined all his chances in the cottage scene when he put the barrier, that was the last thread that the FL held for SML. She did forgive him but obviously the dynamic will never be the same as it used to be. SML was someone she grew up and trusted, in her POV, he lied, hid the secrets to her top desire that she's been chasing aimlessly for 10 years and doesn't trust her by controlling her actions thinking that whatever decision he makes is the best for her.

Bailu and ARP look beautiful in modern clothes and classy in modern dramas. But i feel they are on another level when it comes to xianxia dramas, like seriously both of them look so gorgeous and ARP rocks the long hair

Why are they hating on them and the plot? I actually like the story as it touches on many aspects of life : non blood related family ties, brotherly love, depression, school life and its pressure, overcoming trauma... like what more do people want? 😭
