That whole breakup thing is a Mirror to show Both ML and FL, that they are not perfect. ML will get off with his HERO COMPLEX that he cant save her always. FL will realise that ML IS NOT PERFECT will COME DOWN from HER HERO WORSHIPPING PEDESTAL. In the end they will learn they are HUMANS with imperfection.
