who the hell dictated that xianxia/wuxia must have exaggerated miscommunication, misunderstanding, so it can called cdramas??? Fight me !!!

i like your review. bad is bad. no need to sugar it, saying it's good because of the fav actors/actresses.

it's a good cdrama. but just like some other good cdramas, a bad after taste with not-conclusive happy ending is a must. the call it 'giving lasting impression regardless viewers satisfaction" -_-

yeah, me too. 3-4 eps of emotional disturbance for 4-5 minutes reconciliation. it's so cdrama.

ep 16-19 are when the drama goes "Chinese dramas"

that's the 'beauty' of cdramas. at some points, they just know how to make the viewers lose their interest -_-

it's really a good drama. I think it would better if there's no "i'm in revenge mission, so i should be in denial" trope

many drama are predictable. the difference is how they're presented. predictable cdrama with good presentation is still better than unique one with bad presentation.

finally, a cdrama with "have a good sleep" ending.

really? thank for the spoiler. it's entertaining then. the previous zu er drama went "allen ren" ending, which not so entertaining.

please, please, be happy ending. don't be "i'm too sophisticated for ordinary happy ending. happy ending is for commoners" type of cdrama 🧐

one moral lesson i got from this drama is "real life is already hard. so is cdrama"

i feel reluctant to finish this drama, still below ep 30 after few days. so can someone please spoil me, is there any romance (not depressing romance, but heartfelt one that normal people would love to see) after ep 34 that worthy to look for? or it's just mainly filled with upsetting one? thank in advance.

i've seen in other cdramas this kind if trope, where the romance goes wrong direction first, an i hate it. everytime i encounter this trope, i just tell myself, "yeah, this is cdrama. what can i hope.putting useless annoying tropes is just their arsenal -_-""

we know she doesn't mention it because the writer intended for her not to mention it, and provided some background and reasoning to make it looks "logical" from some perspective. see? this is just a "the logic" that's been forced to the viewers, by the writer/iQIYI/Production team/AI or whoever has the upper hand in deciding the ending. it would take a different route if they intended to make a happy ending, and worked with all the background and reasoning needed to make it "sounds logical' to be happy ending.

it's the same for "responsibility" and "amnesia". just a background and reasoning provided the writer when they've already decided to make ithis drama not-happy ending.

(just my opinion, though)

some say it's logical ending. i think if this drama ends with happy ending, they would also say it's logical ending. no matter what the ending is, when it's done, we just have have to accept "it's logical', since the water's already spilled, just to console some dissatisfaction. (this is the 1st time i write comments on 1 drama more than 2 times, just to express the disappointment that's built up about the ending)

it's just Chinese costume drama mindset and culture that accurs again and again after so many year dissatisfaction from global viewers -_-
