if the writers don’t let the mother redeem herself, it will be so disappointing :( the characters do sometimes…
The fact that most of the time the characters just let her be is more irritating than the personality of the mother itself. And if this drama is trying to be realistic then her mother is irredeemable. That's how asian elders sometimes are, they have so much pride and ego to accept that they can be ever wrong. Here her mother is an extreme case of how toxic a parent can be so yeah... I don't think she can ever change.
I've never seen a character who is greedy and opinionated at the same time. Really, her mother is one of a kind. She has been living this way for such a long time i don't think it's possible for her to change now my experience with asian elders (basically some of my distant relatives) can confirm this (in case this drama is trying to be realistic).
Well the daughter is as fussy as her mom. When someone says something to her mother she criticizes them but when…
Okay ... Just finished ep 16. That scene where she refuses to get engaged, tells her mom that she is too dominating and moves out was really satisfying. But unfortunately i don't think i have any patience left to watch the rest of the episodes. So yeah....starting this drama was not the best choice ever? Now, can someone tell me if have they confessed yet or not and if yes in which ep?
She does try to rectify her mother but in a polite way... In Asia we can't scream at our parents as it is considered…
I was at ep 7 at that time. Just finished ep 16 and it felt good to finally see her stand against her mom and move out. Btw I'm also asian with conservative parents so i understand the culture thing but let's be honest, her mother is the worst of the worst.
Well the daughter is as fussy as her mom. When someone says something to her mother she criticizes them but when her mother insults others, throws tantrums the most she does is trying to calm her down and not tell her what she did/said was wrong as well.
Edit: i wrote this after watching the first 7 episodes.
I'm hoping On san is not involved in this conspiracy. He is the only friend fl has tho at this point she can't trust anyone not even her friend they all look sus. In kdramas the person mc trust the most often turns out to be the betrayer.
I've a feeling this show is gonna be on the top spot soon on mdl's top airing shows! It's been a long time since I've liked a show from the very beginning. This is how i used to enjoy dramas when i was still a beginner.
From voice to crazy love, I've watched most of his dramas and till date his role in Her private life remains my favorite. I hope he would do more romance drama with actresses who are good and experienced in doing romantic dramas.
