I would definitely watch this if it succeeds in retaining the essence of kdramas, no one does romance better than kdramas . And I'm hopeful since the director is korean .

Lazy writing. I pointed out the same thing in one of my post but ppl are so busy defending writer's lazy writing…
Writers defying logic and throwing everything on our faces.... And as a compensation we are getting cameos/ references to the writer's previous dramas back to back.

I saw those things happening in many western dramas. Two brothers loving same girl and she keep juggling btw them…
I don't like characters who are not sure about their feelings and to become sure about it they try dating each one of them, like she is test driving every car to decide which one is the most comfortable. Most of the times in Western shows love/romance is really shallow. They take it for granted.

Atleast the characters here didn't try to justify their actions but in Western dramas they literally feel no guilt and have the audacity to justify two timing by the fl. πŸ˜‚

technically it wasnt his fault he was depressed when he wife said to break up out of depression he drunk a lot…
There can never be an excuse for what he did. Rather his situation calls for an understanding. The mental state he was in it was bound to happen, be it with yuri or any other woman.
The best decision would have been for them to separate amicably and that's what happened.

They will always blame him no matter what but they will not realise he also lost his son and to protect his wife…
Exactly!

Here Realistic Characters are going through a very painful phase of their life that's why they are vulnerable and this vulnerability is making them do wrong things. Her sister lost her whole family because of her one mistake. She got abused during her childhood by her biological mother but was saved by fl and her mum who eventually became her whole world but her one mistake took away everything from her. She regrets it but there's nothing she can do about it. So she's also suffering.

In this comment section The hatred for her husband and sister is too much and unnecessary. He was already going through depression then his son died the perpetrator got away then his wife committed murder and was imprisoned then she decides to break up with him one sidedly.
So much happened. He must have been going through hell. Tho what he did was definitely wrong but understandable. It's hard to not empathize with him.

No Gunwoo would have been 12 or 13 years old. He was 6 when he passed away.
His mom spent 7 yrs in jail.... Then all the events happened then the 6 yr leap. So he would have been around 19-20 yrs old.

I hope the overall rating would increase by tomorrow. 8.2 is too less. Should be between 8.4-8.6 .

Well the story is nothing new. There is definitely room for improvement for instance they could have fleshed out the characters other than fl more. But still....emotions portrayed here makes it worth your time. A melodrama in the truest sense of the word. Ofc The credit goes to All the actors who did a good job in portraying their respective characters But kim nam joo, as always because of her commendable acting, stood out the most.

This is not a romance show where the ending is all about if fl ends up with ml or not. That's a bizarre question…
My intention was not to make you feel bad for asking a question otherwise i would not have replied to you and told you the actual answer to your question.
I just got this feeling from your comment that you have a misconception about the theme of this drama that's why that long reply. But if you still felt like that, i apologize.

To All those people who have not watched the drama i would like to describe what this is actually about (bcs I think some comments might give you a wrong impression about the theme/vibe of this drama).

This drama is about how emotionally broken people heal each other by following the philosophy of forgive and forget. All the main characters listed here have lost something very important, something that gave meaning to their life, be it fl, seonyul, fl's husband or her sister.
But by the end they are seen as moving on with their life finding something new/meaningful something that could give them the motivation to keep living despite being in pain.
This is not a makjang where mc takes revenge against the injustice by scheming, plotting etc. or where the act of cheating and cheaters are a bit over the top.
Rather this drama has a melancholic tone from the beginning till the end. So keep this in mind when watching this. You would be able to feel the sadness through the characters.

my one and only question.. does the fl and her husband end up together? i've watched the last ep, but still i…
This is not a romance show where the ending is all about if fl ends up with ml or not. That's a bizarre question to ask here.
To summarize In the end she forgives both of them because she knows they are living in constant torment because of their one mistake.
Justice is served. All the characters go their separate ways and restart their life.
This drama was more about forgive and forget and moving on with your life.
