I tried reading the webtoon and couldn't get past first 20 episode because the ml was hella annoying. This is why for the first time I'm hoping that they make some changes even if little bit so that it retains the humour but the characters don't come out as annoying/immature.

I've high expectation because of the talented cast and intriguing trailer.

Ps. I'm someone who likes making theories about the plot by watching teasers/trailers so reading some illogical theories here made me a little annoyed so that's why this rant.

After watching the latest trailer they can be anything but mother and son. Maybe they share mutual feelings, maybe they are just revenge partners/emotional support of each other or maybe it's just one sided (like how it happens in kdramas usually the ml develops feelings while helping FL for example Cheat on me if you can).

Everyone has preferences and if this turned out to have something (even slightly) that you find uncomfortable or immoral you can choose to just not watch it's okay no one is judging you. But repeatedly saying that they are mother/son, he is her dead son etc. when the teaser, trailer, poster is hinting otherwise it's like you deliberately want to live in denial.

Earlier there was no comedy tag on mdl and the synopsis (and the title) made me think that this is going to be an emotional/melodramatic type of romance kdrama but now looking at the trailer and the tags here and the changed synopsis i guess it's a romcom. I should have guessed this before when i saw that the ott for this Netflix. *Sigh*
Tbh i was really looking forward to it thinking it would be the former one but i guess I'll wait. Because you know if it's a Romcom+ popular and good looking leads+Netflix it's going to get a high rating on mdl anyway...so yeah...

Exactly! The synopsis made it sound like it's a serious, melodramatic type of romance show but the trailer hints towards this being a romcom.
