Psychopaths don't feel guilt but Remember he said he regretted killing. So i think there is a high chance that his life would have been completely different had his mother not died or the detective hadn't abandoned him.
Finally we have a cdrama where the police isn't corrupt π i was so sick of those same old thriller cdramas with drug cartels and corrupt police. I prefer this type of thriller cdramas over those!
