I haven't started this because I'm in no condition to watch something related to suicide but from what I have deduced from the comments i think he likes yoon bomi and vice versa but they are not in a relationship because her friend also likes him. So she is in a fake relationship with someone else.

All the dialogues are so Meaningful. And Jegal is so adorable😍. I always find myself watching this with teary eyes and a smile on my face at the same time.
