Sorry that you can't handle people criticizing something you like
First of all there's NO HATRED for the female lead of course she is a good actress. The problem is her character you know ( again which is not the fl's fault) and that's not because she didn't fell for him from the start (btw in most dramas leads falling in love and realising their feelings only after half of the episodes have aired is more common or u can say TYPICAL) it's because most people don't find these character interesting enough to make them hooked. Now this is about preference you know! Majority of people don't resonate with the characters and that's why they are dropping this. Isn't this enough for to make them drop this drama?

I think there's rarely a comment where people didn't explained why they are dropping this drama and there are number of reasons people have given ( other than FL's acting) .

No matter what drama it is the comment section is always full of mixed reviews. And THAT'S HOW IT SHOULD BE. People discuss both the MERITS and the DEMERITS of the show so that those who are hesitating can know if what they are looking for is there in the drama or not. Also criticism is necessary so that drama makers can know where it went wrong and don't make the same mistakes again. No drama is perfect but how would they know unless the audience criticize them for their mistakes.
All actors start somewhere, whether they do bad and need to work on it or turn out to be a star in the making…

I think you misunderstood my question. Chemistry between the leads and their Acting matters to me a lot. I'm not criticizing them if their acting is not good( as they need more experience to show improvement) but I would rather save my time and internet than watching a drama with poor acting on top of being full of cliches. That's why i was asking if the acting is good enough.
Judging by the trailer it looks different than other Chinese dramas( which have cold, arrogant, rich male lead and stupid, damsel in distress, poor, stuck in a love triangle, weak female lead) . It has romance as well as psychological issues which is rare in Chinese dramas. THANK GOD! Chinese drama makers are finally using their common sense and being realistic (even if a little bit) and making the characters flawed.
Now I'm going to start watching this and see if I have made the right judgement about this drama!
