The ending, I feel that something is absent.

Drama with so many plot holes and the sloppy police investigation.

In my opinion, the drama ends without drawing special attention to the abused orphans or (lack of empathy) on the unfair deaths of the orphans. The crazy dog Baek Moon Kang killed at least 20 orphans (sent to university as cadavers donation). There are also crime of sexual favour and the sexual exploitation of the female orphans. Lack of justice. The judicial system is supposed to be totally fair.

~ From the beginning, I dislike the character of the detective Ryu Sung Joon. Too often, he use unnecessarily violent. He becomes extremely and uncontrollably angry, often to the point of violence when capturing suspects.

The ending of the drama makes me pity Sung Hoon. I feel sympathetic sorrow for Sung Hoon's substantial misfortune. Sung Hoon said that he wants revenge, not murder but Jung Yoon Jae enjoyed the killings.

Their revenge plan starts after Jung Yoon Jung died. The real killer is Jung Yoon Jae (juror Jung In Seong), he is such a psycho killer. Jung Yoon Jae displays psychopathic behavior since childhood. His serial killer behavior as an adult is based on choice, despite childhood experience.

Question :
Do the abused, traumatised orphans need to become 'monsters' in order to uncover the truth?

What with the sloppy police work, rush to judgment and failure to investigate?

Adamas ends on such climactic ending.

The storyline is not too bad as some people have commented. Needless to say, the plot is intriguing and gripping.

Spoiler in the review:
Leaving viewers hanging with an unsatisfactory ending:
Is Song Soo Hyun really dead? If yes, where is his body? Who sent the note addressed to Ha Woo Shin? Who wants the Adamas now? Another trap for the second season? (stop it, Adamas doesn't need another season).

Ji Sung does not disappoint with his amazing performance when casted into a dual role as the two male leads, Ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun. Thumbs up!!

In this drama, I love Ha Woo Shin role.

Adamas takes too much attention and brain power, so I won't rewatch it.

I hate it when the script writer decided to kill agent Kim while the psycho girl is still alive. The psycho killer should have an atrocious death.

Watch Adamas if you love unsolved mystery thriller drama.

***Unfortunately Kdramas have started following the western trend of making sequel seasons. Hate it!

so far, this is the best in 2022

I read the novel first to know what to expect. Some moments in the novel are left out / altered to fit the screen story.

The excellent script of Love Like the Galaxy is very outstanding. Well done!!
This drama is my second favourite historical Chinese-drama after The Story of Ming Lan.

Why I like the storyline?
The best part is NO HATE relationship between:
-the Empress Xuan and Empress Yue.
-Niao Niao and her cousin Yang Yang.
-Zi Sheng, Ayao and Yuan Shen.
-Royal siblings Crown Prince, the 3rd Prince and the 5th Prince.

I started watching actress Zhao Lusi's dramas since "The Romance of Tiger and Rose". Zhao Lusi always portray her character successfully. She always completed the transformation into the character. Her ability to show emotion that captivate me as her audience. She really commits fully to her roles. Well done!!

Before this I watched actor Leo Wu as Ashile Sun in drama The Long Ballad. The "Zi Sheng" role that challenged actor Leo Wu physically, emotionally and spiritually. As Leo Wu embodied the character of Zi Sheng, not only transformed himself physically, mentally and spiritually into the role of Zi Sheng, he imbued the character that I often forgot this was a performance. I can feel his sorrow and emotions in this drama. Well done!!

I recommend you to watch Part 1 before you watch Part 2.

I plan to rewatch this drama while waiting for new historical drama. :)

Fall in Love

Another Chinese romance drama that lets you enjoy it from the start until the end.

Romance drama with good looking cast. All of the actors and actresses are attractive to look at. Eye candy!!

I love the storyline!! Stress relief.

A man who falls in love with a woman at first sight.
The male lead who decides to propose to the female lead when they meet at an event (to deceive his eldest brother).
The male lead who is infatuated by the female lead and goes on a quest to discover the female lead's identity.

This drama tells you that when you're in a relationship, you trust your partner,
you discuss with your partner first,
you stay calm when outsiders tell something about your partner,
then you will have healthy relationship.

I love this drama because there's no stupid misunderstanding scenes. In any relationship, misunderstanding brings disharmony.

The strong female lead Feng Ping is really enjoyable to watch. This drama is definitely not the damsel in distress. I dislike any drama that portrays the female character being naïve and helpless, which makes heroine easy prey for villains. Thanks Fall in Love for the strong female character!!

Actually the male lead Tang Jia Nan is not a playboy. When he engaged to the female lead, they begin to tease and flirt with each other. Fun to watch. They trust each other, stay honest and loyal about their feelings.

I like the supporting characters of the male lead's assistant/bodyguard Ah Jiu and the female lead's male best friend Fang Jun Hao.

The greatest bromance between the male lead Tang Jia Nan and his assistant/bodyguard Ah Jiu.

The special bond between the female lead Feng Ping and her male best friend Fang Jun Hao as they care about, love and respect each other.

This drama, you're able to watch the platonic relationship between the female lead and her male best friend. Not occurring very often in the other romantic dramas.

Some people might think this drama is slow pace. I don't think like that because I enjoy watching every episode.

Rewatch? Maybe.

I recommend you to watch Fall in Love if you are searching for a happy warm romantic drama with happy ending. No stressful scenes. Only one or two irritating characters. Not so dramatic.

Bad storyline. Skip this drama!!

I love watching Hans Zhang Han's dramas. I have seen many of his shows with the most insane amount of onscreen chemistry. I truly enjoy all of the wonderful performances from him. In my opinion, Hans Zhang Han is one of the best romantic actors. In this drama, definitely audiences are blessed with amazing chemistry between the main couple.

The thing is this drama has terrible story telling. Worst!! I feel bad for the actors and actresses of the drama.

Nothing throughout the plot of the story gave me that feeling of excitement to continue watching.

Some of the sacrifice was in vain. No purpose when you think back on it. There are too many unnecessary misunderstanding. The main couple will break up and then make up many times. Hashtag multiple breakups.

The female lead is a lawyer but every so often her character can be impetuous. Her character is weak. No development in her character throughout the drama. What the script did to her role was just pathetic.

The second leads (female and male) are psychopaths who get under your skin.

On the whole, there were some enjoyable moments between the main couple. That's it.

I would not recommend to re-watch.
