Imo, YDZ's character setting is more attractive than BDJ's cutesy spoiled brat role but the "overshadow" claim did not happen in China.

I was scrolling till I saw this and I think I need to share my take. Some may argue here in international that he got "overshadowed" by the SML in Dashing Youth but in the real case in China, he never got overshadowed at all. He gained the most number of followers and he is always ranked first on datas in that drama. When the SML started getting focused in Dashing Youth at the second half, the heat index declined like what happened here in Fangs of Fortune when the SML also started getting the major screentime.

The same case happened here, GJM obviously tried so badly to let the SML shine in this drama but it did not happen.
