CHILDHOOD FRIENDS COMING OF AGE TOGETHER
This is such a great show set in the 90s.Production wise- clothing and set designs were done well. The nostalgia value was through the roof for me.
The cast was UGH!!! so fracking good. Some of the acting from a non FL was a bit annoying but bearable. I appreciated the character developments and how identifiable the stores were. Everyone's had a crush, everyone's been there for a friend, everyone's had a breakup, and hopefully everyone has or will find a circle of friends that grow and graduate life with you .
All your emotions will be stirred- its not happy all the time, which I truly appreciated.
I don't like inputting spoilers- worth the watch for sure!
Last mention- I'm such a sucker for Richards but c'mon.... he really delivers here. My heart flutters everytime he smiles LOL

ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT
10/10 because EVERYTHING about this production is outstandingDirection, cast, performances, character developments, and story line. Extremely refreshing and lovely to watch.
This is a drama so there are characters you love to hate but are needed to move this story along.
I can't express how well each actor/actress delivered on their characters and tropes. So good.
This takes C-dramas to a NEW level. In my books as a Classic! and is going to be a tough act to follow
To address how some viewers who dropped it and wrote bad reviews- check the raters other reviews to get an idea of what content they are particular to.

sliver linings of youth
good slice of life of 2 teenagers go through “stuff” and tough emotions.I think it ended abruptly but it didn’t take away from the body of the work
don’t watch on netflix dubbed- just read the subtitles.
acting was great from both leads. also- just a cultural note- I didn’t know involved parents could be in China! that was wild to me

Cute Rom/Com
Hi,This is an easy to watch Rom/Com; that doesn't pull at your heartstrings too much.
Storyline was entertaining.
Acting was good! I enjoyed every scene and I think the cast worked well to make the scenes feel like a slice of life
I think main couple looked good on set. Although I would like Shen Yue to work on her kissing. She's been in the industry for some time now, she needs to feel more confident in her kissing scenes. Overall actors were believable.
Last words; this is a light rom com with charming actors.

Cute, Light & Easy to watch
Fair warning: the story line is not exciting but it was easy to binge watch.ML and FL meet under odd circumstances and keep running into one another and poof! as fate would have it they are in a boss/employee relationship and help one another out to accomplish goals/challenges.
Jasper and Shen Yue always put a smile on my face so I had to watch this since both of them were in it. I loved their on screen chemistry. The alternative couples have cute stories as well. I don't think they will be in another drama with one another but if they can get on a game show that would be worth watching!

Strong & Independent FL
Just finished- here are my take aways- NO SPOILERSFL character is strong willed and can take care of herself but she is not cold, which I found very refreshing.
The story is well developed but I think they could have wrapped up the whole story and closed the series out- going into second season with a different cast wont carry the same dynamic .
The romance development kept me in suspense for too long! I almost got annoyed by it. LOL
I completed this but have to admit that I fast forwarded! No rewatch value unless I need a refresher for season 2.
