Was about the watch this and saw your comment. I really liked TLB, recently I watched Novoland Pearl Eclipse and it was really good.

Thought it was only me! I only made it up to episode 4 that’s with FF also. I’m a fan of XZ but the FL just makes me cringe with the over exaggerated crying in episode 1 and then tbh she’s a college student I can’t understand yet why she’s so childish and immature. I got annoyed at her character and just stopped.

I totally get you. Same here it’s like your comfort zone. I tried honestly but had to keep pausing during the episode cause I was so annoyed and FF scenes with the 2nd couple. Ahhhh really did want to watch cause I’m a fan of xiao Zhan and it’s been so long but from what I saw his character was good. But oh well, moving on to another.

I’m not a fan on the FL, that first episode with the over exaggerated crying like she did in Ashes of Love was a turn off and the following episodes even though she’s a college student acting clueless and like a child is basically her same character in AOL that made me cringe. It’s just not realistic. I was still open minded about cause of the hype was thinking it would have been like a mature and realistic relationship as in YAMG but if it’s not I ain’t gonna continue. Will rewatch YAMG, cause Yutu & Jingjing are the best 😍

Also I just started TOOL on episode 4 and I’m really not feeling it as I did with YAMG. Can someone who watched both let me if I should continue? TBH the FL is annoying.

Just rewatched this… all the feels and butterflies came right back! This has to be the best modern romance cdrama ever! 💕 Just perfect. Missing these two.

Hii. I would like to suggest you try Novoland Pearl Eclipse. I enjoyed TLB and I’ve watched many dramas after but none could compare until i came across Novoland Pearl Eclipse.

I just want to say this was soooo good and I highly recommend it! I thoroughly enjoyed this entire drama. Loved the main couple as well as the secondary couples, the relationship between Emperor and FJM. It was good. Must watch. I was skeptical at first because of the mixed reviews/comments but nah watch it. I was hooked from first episode. Honestly, this deserves a better rating. More like 8.8.

I agree with you. I enjoyed TLB but I honestly don’t know why this isn’t rated 8.7 as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this!!

To me the ML looks much more mature than the FL. FL is small and cute. Loving the main couple.

I’m more into xianxia dramas but honestly this was refreshing and very light hearted. I enjoyed it from my usual. I really liked the ML and FL.

Ikr especially episode 61 the both leaders/brothers for the two realms fighting over this fairy with no substantial power.. I mean really 😂 for Eternal Love I literally fast forwarded most of it 🤦🏽‍♀️

So I’ve completed it. I definitely agree. I feel like to the middle it was just 2ML fighting over a lame FL which was just boring lame storyline. I know it has high rating and it well spoken off but nahhh I won’t rewatch I felt the same way with Eternal Love (2017). Didn’t get the hype.

So I know we’re all upset about the situation with Deng Lun, I was watching AOL when the news hit this week and it make me so sad cause I’m loving his character! I deferred from watching cause I was in my feelings about the incident but I resumed tonight and I’m episode 53 and let me just say I’m loving his transition!!! 😍

This is also my sentiments. Every time I resume I can’t get pass watching two episodes, due to her acting it’s hard to binge 🤦🏽‍♀️ But I do want to complete it cause it’s actually interesting. Not sure if I can 😣
