Exactly. This was how I got into BL late 2022. All the Kdramas, Jdramas and Cdramas lost their appeal. Plots were suddenly similar, same pattern e.t.c.
I felt lost and listless.
Somehow, I allowed myself watch a mlm show from VIKI, something I never gave a thought to before.

Or the weak one who resists so much at first, rejects the advances but enjoys the perks that comes with it, only to end up , having drunk sex with the pursuer, cries in denial the next morning but magically falls in love after losing their virginity.

Shows definitely gloss over a lot of things. Remember that most BLs tries to fit boyslove into a heteronormative style of "husband and wife" with lots of stereotypes. So they are always compatible in shows.
Real life should be way different.

I'm ashamed to say, while i love Kdramas, the only KBLs i managed to complete and enjoyed were Semantic error, love class 2, Jun and Jun.
