If I may, I don't know. This feels like how men keeps getting told about how they ought to not cry or show their emotions to be seen as masculine or alpha males which is the real toxic masculinity. Men cannot be vulnerable without being called weak or betas. Men can't be this or that. Secondly, people react to things different. I'm not saying violence is the answer but in this show, there are supernatural elements and certain things which follows suit.. Babe is an alpha that had relied on other alphas to curb his excess powers and senses. He's got major daddy issues as well. That can result in a behaviour like that. He's had this issue with his foster dad for a long time and his dad has refused to back off and is bent on using him...At some point, I doubt anyone can still be calm with such pent up frustrations. This is my POV to that particular response.
As for Last Twilight, Mhok is violent too. He's always fighting and almost close to lashing out when provoked.. His micro aggression cannot be swept under the rug just because the show is beautiful and Mhok is being painted as a green flag.
I wish I can watch this as soon as it airs today. Unfortunately, I'll have to watch it hours later. I'll probably roast in anticipation and excitement. 😫
