What is Top passionate about besides chasing after Mew? His apartment is bland, so no personalization there. When…
I think aside Top being tall, rich and a handsome playboy aka Top-tier, and pursuing Mew, he has no other personality. I'm not sure if the cut scenes has anything to do with his personal life, family or hobby. All we know about him aside from being rich and owing a hotel, is that he has some tragic childhood that led to him being unable to sleep. Even that wasn't properly fleshed out and honestly, I don't care too much. One character with tragic back story and mental health issues is enough to wear the audience down from his continuous attempt to hurt others and self sabotage.
Aside from Mew being a naive virgin and nerdish, with two moms, who likes to read, we also didn't get an in-depth view at his life and character. Even the betrayal he experienced, while we can see he's conflicted, we didn't really get to see how he's dealing with that internal struggle of being in love, hating his lover and still not wanting to let go aside from his initial spiral into the hole that's drugs and alcohol. Top scenes were cut to make the viewers like him better and Mew was made to look selfish and mean.
We know next to nothing about Nick aside from the store.
While this story seem to be told from Mew's gaze, it actually revolves around Sand and Ray and their story was fully fleshed out.
All I can say is, I guess there's only so much they can fit into 12 episodes.
Ah, so Top has a thing for men who are both spec-tacular and world-wise! Sounds like he's hunting for a modern-day…
Mew is in no way world-wise. Book smart, intelligent and is definitely is spec-tacular. On that note, can we just appreciate how sexy Mew's lips looked right after Boeing kissed him?🤧
Oh, honey, those photos are the sartorial equivalent of wearing socks with sandals to a Vogue party. A total "what…
You know, I went to a bar with a friend of mine. She wore white socks with Balenciaga slide slippers. Of a truth, we initially did not plan to visit the bar that evening and we just wanted to stroll around the vicinity. I am new to the city, you see and on passing by the bar, we decided to go in. So we ordered our drinks and sat by the windows. Just beside us were seated 3 guys who were having fun vibing to the music and drinking loads of alcohol. Somehow, we got drawn into a conversation with them and we found ourselves downing shots of tequilas, albeit grudgingly. Then they looked at my friend's feet and were like "why did you come to the bar dressed like this? Look at other ladies in sexy clothes and high heels. You must be a Gen-Z. Only Gen-Zees dresses like this with socks on slippers". My friend turned to look at me and I looked at her and we both started laughing because my friend is already in her mid-thirties and is in no way a Gen-Zee". We sort of had an unspoken conversation about how we don't care about how people see us and we just smiled. Ah! Fun times.😅 Pardon any typo I might have made.
It's been 10 episodes and I still wanna sue whoever it was that gave a pass and signed off that unflattering photo of Nick which he left in Boston's phone. I'd also like to fire who ever thought that photo of Boston is sexy material for Nick to mast0bate with.😒 Of all the photos they could have chosen.... I remember how badly my teeth ached from cringing when I saw those photos.😭
I heard he's finally gonna be starring in a rom-com. 💃 Let me start by saying he's an amazing actor. To be honest, he scarred me with all his emotional dramas. I loved and hated both "One spring night and Something in the rain". I didn't like how often they made him sad and cry. I started snowdrop but I dropped because I was afraid he's gonna be made to cry again. Then I saw first ep of DP and watched him being bullied and OMG! I dropped it so fast😬. I can't stand his sad face. I mean, he's so good at portraying the hurt look that I'm nearly driven to tears and I hate crying. That's why I'm so excited to finally see him play something that'll be different from all his other works. Goodluck Hae!
All the talk about alcohol addiction I feel they have forgotten that ray also use drugs....I really dislike when…
Yes. You are right. Addressing the drug and cigarette use is equally as important, because someone like Ray might just move his addiction from alcohol to the other two when things are no longer going smoothly.
why are they trying to redeem top ? there's nothing he can say or do to make me like him
Me neither but we seem to be the minority here. It's amazing how little sympathy Mew gets despite how hurt he is from the betrayal. It's amazing how people still dislike him because his character is nerdish with no messy life like the others and because he was raised with love, he has no tragic backstory to win sympathy from the viewers. It's interesting that they say he has no personality and they expect him to just get over what Top and Ton did to him. Mew gave his all to Top, yet even that is not enough for people to understand why he's still so hurt and conflicted. They all want us to love Top now that they are busy redeeming him but most of the redemption moves he makes ircks me. Showing up uninvited severally instead of giving Mew space to process and heal from what happened to him. Non-con cuddling and now, he sat there at those tables and allowed his ex make snide remarks at Mew. He deserves everything he's getting. I don't understand how the director of this drama expected everyone to love Top. Even though he edited and remove some scenes, especially the Mew breaking things scenes which could have help portrayed how much hurt Mew still is, I can never like Top. The perfect ending for Mew would be him rejecting Top and going away from this mess all by himself to just heal and relax
>>Pro version: take two drinks when Ray says, "I'm sorry."
I equally like Mew's pettiness but unlike you, I don't like Top and it would be best if Mew had rejected him so that he can heal but I seem to be one of the minority here and also one of the people who "would not shut up about how much they don't like Top". I'm not writing a major comment about this though because all Top's righteous defenders who "sees" the director's vision will attack me.

Please take me shopping with you for some croc-pin😅
I would usually go for blank and dark things, rather than colourful things as well. I guess you and I are in the same category 😄
Cheers 🍻 to seeing little details.🙈
Little wonder Boeing said Mew is an upgraded version of him.
On that note, can we just appreciate how sexy Mew's lips looked right after Boeing kissed him?🤧

The other guy just sat there without saying anything 🙄

Isn't it amazing? That people think they can tell others how to react to the hurt they caused to them?
