i jokingly said i'd watch ep 11 and 12 at 2x to get through the sad drama, but i ended up watching at 2x for another reason 💀

i like the show initially, but ep 11 was an episode that just didn't need to be there. there could have been none of that drama because it didn't really change anything. There are also multiple loose ends especially with jaabjane, and the company. The episodes have such a long runtime, but couldn't even manage to finish the story lol at least the main couple are cute esp. Jeng.

he only dreamed it. in the end, i understood it as the guy was just living his own fantasy. the other guy was straight. the mc in the end is just consumed by his obsession/ love for his friend. this is how i understood it.

having read the books, i found that the original adaptation gave the characters more justice in terms of personality and looks. I like Su Yu but Wu Bi just doesn't give Gu Hai who is supposed to be a super muscular guy who could do a billion pull ups and beat their gym teacher. As any other show these two are good, but as an addicted remake, it kind of lacks the main components of their character lolll but i'm still going to watch it 😭ig this is just lightly based off of the og so i'm not going to judge it too much 🤧🤧
