i was confused till i watched ep 10. He basically thinks that jeng is playing with his feelings. This whole time he's liked jeng but never thought they could be together since he thinks jeng is straight, so he could in a way ignore all the signals jeng was giving as him misunderstanding. but now he felt that jeng was messing around for fun since he was flirting but never taking any action or telling him that he's gay. he's also acting that way mainly because he's insecure and doesn't think that someone like jeng could like him. this is my interpretation of it :)

I didn't rlly see it that way 🤧To me it felt like yechan was a happy bubbly guy who just loves farming. He was serious when he should be, which played a great contrast to his personality. He was also emotionally mature and understood seon yul, esp when he found out that he was going to seoul.
