Just finished. If I didn't know there was going to be a second season, I would have broke something close by. LMAO I think they ended this well, but by the end of this season, I was tired of how good they hide their love for each other. I can only take so much gooey eyes for each other...I hope in season 2 they are able to hold each other with so much love, its makes up for season 1's lack of romance. I feel the editing was so strange in this show. They definitely deleted a lot of good parts I feel.
JCY and Mudan fell in love in probably one of the most realistic ways. They are the typical best friends who end up with each other by a certain age if neither gets married to someone else. lol Okay 24 episodes to show us your love, JCY and Mudan! Don't let us down! I'm really hoping they don't air season 2 next year.
Huge shout out to the actress who played Shengyi, actress Shao Yun. She was amazing in this character. I hope she continues to build her acting career because she is truly an amazing actress! Every emotion, tear, hardship she went through, I felt it! I will never forget Qin Shengyi. She represents so many abused women out there, I hope all women have the power to improve themselves, like what Mudan always told Shengyi, cherish yourself. T_T.
