Well…

I mean it’s exactly as what’d you’d expect especially if you watched strong woman do bongsoon first.

Personally I found this show pretty entertaining but I felt really sorry for the villain Ryo Shio. I wish they would’ve given him a happy ending honestly.

There isn’t much for me to touch on, I think the show was really silly at times and funny but I guess that’s the genre it is in general.

I think they made nam soon a little too much hyper and quirky and made it a bit cringe.

The cop was cute but compared to Ryo Shio he didn’t seem to have much of a personality…Or maybe I just inevitably choose villains over heroes but!

Overall I actually would LOVE a season 2 because of the cliffhanger at the end. So you’re telling me there’s a guy with the power too? Such a good plotwist.

I would love to meet the new character! However i’m not sure if this show will get renewed but who knows, it only recently ended.

It’s a quirky show really, same premise as the OG, nothing special. But cute and good for keeping you entertained when bored.

UHM...

yall this gotta be one of the most fucked up kdramas i watched fr💀💀💀💀💀💀 basically the girl is two timing a guy and another one for the most of the series and they’re trying to justify her actions by saying “thats just how she is” like 💀wdym by that?💀👎 another character was later introduced and he is her friend of 10 years and they started hinting at the fact that he likes her and has liked her for the past 10 years despite knowing her two timing tendencies and i fr thought he would change her in the end and it’ll be all cute in the end where they get together and she stops two timing…YALL……in the end they DO get together but because he accepts her for who she is THE SERIES END WITH HER DATING HIM AND ANOTHER GUY AT THE SAME TIME AND THEY EXCHANGE HER FROM TIME TO TIME….?!?!?!?LIKE WHAT?!😭😭😭😭😭😭 so she basically doesn’t change at all in the end and her argument is that she NEEDS to have two partners at the same time cus otherwise it just doesnt work out for her like bro…😭👎 i literally laughed at the ending…it was very entertaining tho, but goddamn…the moral of the story is very bad idk how to feel abt it deadass

but yea i dont recommend unless u wanna laugh at something lol

COMFORT KDRAMA!!

Oh goddd where do i begin with this one?
I finished this kdrama a long time ago, maybe in 2020 and i’m rewatching it with a friend of mine right now. It’s one of the most comforting, feel good, a slice of life kdramas. I really recommend it! Of course it’s not going to be everyones cup of tea but this was such a silly and cute show, every character was likeable (except for the ex until the end) and well built and had good chemistry with each other. I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend for anyone who enjoys silly kdramas like this to watch it!!

a MUST watch

i started this kdrama a couple of hours ago and i finished it all in one sitting. its very rare nowadays for a kdrama to catch my attention like this, but jesus christ this was one of the most interesting eye catching kdramas ever. not one episode was boring and each cliffhanger ending made me want more. such a difficult watch because of how the violence and sometimes you get frustrated watching it— but it’s just something you can’t keep your eyes off. acting was phenomenal especially from the actor of sieun, the performance when he finally brokedown and yelled in school before punching the window in the corridor struck my heart with pain. everytime he would express sadness i would feel it with him…just amazing casting. on a side note: what i felt was unnecessary was youngyi’s sudden involvement into their friendship? perhaps thats why i was on beomseoks side for a while even though at some point i just stopped defending him and slowly started to dislike him, i still feel zero connection with youngyi…her character feels so unnecessary if we don’t look at beomseoks jealousy. but i guess she was only needed for stirring stuff up with beomseok for the sake of the plot but still it just felt so random that they befriended her…overall such a great show. sieun and sooho have the best chemistry out of everyone in the show. you can just tell they care for each other a lot…love those two the most<3

Time travel but a drag on

I usually enjoy time travel based shows, and usually they’re always well done. Can’t really make a time travel show boring right?

Well….

Listen, I’m not saying this K-Drama was bad but throughout the show, things just dragged on unnecessarily long. So many plot holes left inside as well.

So the ‘clones’ that the main characters are switching between, what the hell happened to them? It just felt so surreal that they kept switching between the bodies and there seemed to have been zero consequences, just a few people going “oh you changed!”, but it only happened with Minju and Junhee.

What I also found a little weird, was how they made Siheons doppelganger …gay?

So Koo Yeonjun was gay, and then Siheon entered his body and made him date a woman. Doesn’t anyone else find that a little weird? I mean I get that wasn’t Yeonjun himself but if Minju was inside Junhee’s head and witnessed everything Junhee did while she was in her body, doesn’t that mean Koo Yeonjun was also in Siheons head as well? And then had to see his body be with a woman? Lol…just a huge plothole imo.

And I’m also curious if Koo Yeonjun stayed with Rowoons character in the end or not, they seemed pretty cute!!

Ingyu and Minju were also adorable, I was rooting for them since the beginning.

If I’m being completely honest, Junhee and Siheon didn’t have all that much chemistry. The actors are great and they acted well but, there was just no chemistry between them. I felt absolutely nothing whenever they shared romantic scenes together. It was just so boring and plain…their relationship seemed forced, and they had so much to work with in their story- I was hoping at some point I would see the chemistry but I just couldn’t.

Somewhere in the middle of the show, maybe around the time Junhee switched back to 2023 after being in Minjus body for the first time, things got even more boring and the show felt like it was being dragged on for so long. Everything was slow, and the plotwists were being revealed in the most anti climactic slow paced way.

I honestly think this would’ve been better as a movie rather than a show. So many episodes felt like filler episodes, or just something that didn’t need a whole episode dedicated for it.

The misdirect of the killer who somehow figured out how to time travel as well, and then not bringing him up ever again after they got rid of the time travel walkman? There’s just so many things they left unspoken.

Nevertheless, the last 3 episodes I forced myself to watch so I could finish this show, it actually wasn’t all that bad and it kept me engaged. I found Minjus character the most interesting, and I’m sad we got robbed of her character. I think they should’ve focused on her development in the series rather than making her breakdown in one episode and then suddenly being okay and content with her life in the next.

But other than that, the show itself wasn’t all that bad- but it did get super boring at some point. Unless you’re a huge fan of Ahn Hyoseop and Jeon Yeobeen , you would probably enjoy this a lot more. Other than that, in my opinion this isn’t something I would choose to watch to entertain myself since it wasn’t that much action filled as I had hoped. But it wasn’t all too bad either. Just more so focused on the love story between the star crossed lovers who have to switch between time lines to be with each other. So if you’re in a mood for a slow pace romance story, this is for you!

Forbidden Romance love story

I’m going to start off by saying that, I started this show like maybe in 2022 and then dropped it for a year- and then I realised I stopped it at like episode 13 and I was soooo close to finishing it, so I started it up again. Half of stuff that happened in the show I forgot already BUT, I really don’t understand why I dropped it when the show is actually really good?

I think once the story went from North to South, it did get a little boring and it seemed like the story kept circling around the same problem- which is the brother wanting to kill Se-ri and the forbidden love between her and the North Korean guy. (Forgot his name sorry 🙈) But after finishing this K-Drama, I really regret dropping it mid ending, I feel like it would’ve been much more impactful and also, despite the fact that I forgot so many things when I started it again- I still cried so much ?!😭 ESPECIALLY WHEN THAT GUY DIED! I’m not going to reveal who (although I also forgot his name so…😭) but I was so upset, literally what was the reason!!! Such a stupid and unnecessary thing honestly, that’s probably the only thing I disliked about the show- other than the fact that some things were a little dragged out.

Anyway I found out the main characters actually got married in real life and have a kid😭 Which makes so much sense because their chemistry was definitely chemistry-ing, such a beautiful couple!

Alright so, what I took from this is that- the show isn’t bad at all, it has a good plot and you know whats happening. I think the reason I got bored with it was because this story does really focus a lot more on the romantic aspect of the show- basically the love between Se-ri and the North Korean, and although of course there IS action BUT it is not as nearly a reoccurring thing like romance is. So much cheesiness, not just between the main characters but side characters as well.

So if you’re in a mood for a cheesy romance story which gives it a little spice because it’s forbidden…this K-Drama is for you!

Meeeooowwww (if you know you know)

Honestly, I REALLY enjoyed this movie!!

I don’t know what is it with Korea and making bullying movies and shows but damn it…they do it so well.

From the beginning, the actors do such a great job because I was so frustrated and mad immediately!! I knew the characters needed development and a little push later but I needed them to punch the bully immediately like dang!!!

It was emotional, scary and yet, so so satisfying in the end.
There’s just something so cool about a vigilante teacher LMAOO
Though I wasn’t expecting the story to steer that way, I am so glad it did because man, I was never bored during this movie.

It’s crazy how you find your passion through such a weird situation, fighting bullies as a teacher but masked? Hell yeah. I hope this concept is done once more and maybe turned into a kdrama. So so good.

If you’re into revenge k-dramas, man i’m telling you this will feed you GOOD.

girl gets her bestfriend and cheating husband back, KARMA IS REALLLL

When I tell you, from start to finish I was soooo deeply invested in this story. I remember first finding out about this story through webtoon, people posting screenshots of a woman who has cancer finding her husband cheating on her with her childhood best friend. Its so deeply fried inside my brain that even though I’ve never read the webtoon, I still remember thise screenshots of the story.

And then when I heard its getting a live action? DUDE YES!

Like not one episode was boring.

I saw a lot of people dropped the show because they didn’t like the male lead, but honestly ever since I saw him in Mr.Queen I literally thought he was so handsome, and seeing him get a role that’ll get him recognised made me so happy! And I believe he did a very well job and I enjoyed his scenes with Jiwon.

Alright so overall, really good revenge plot- everything was just so satisfying. The thing is, I LOVE, time travel and revenge plots- and these two being mixed together?! Literally best thing ever. I promise you, you won’t regret watching this. Though the show isn’t a ten for me because there are some plotholes, like, they never explain why Jiwons fate fell on her ex boyfriend and not on Sumin? I guess Sumin always had her own fate of ending up in jail I guess?

Also I guess you could say the way things ended in the end were a lil TOO perfect, like how did everything just fall into place perfectly 🤣 Everyone who was single had a partner and got married and has kids like🤣🤣 But I digress, I was really happy for Jiwon because holy shit, she really deserved the happy ending after going through all of that.

ALSO, was the ex manager (forgot his name but the guy who was an asshole at work), did he turn gay in the end? Because wdym he found his true self after love failed him….🤭 I won’t jump to conclusions here but since this K-Drama is filled with villains, the least one I expected to have a redemption arc was the manager and it was so wholesome! I guess the ex classmates too but if I’m being honest their presence in the story wasn’t that special, when they showed up again I literally forgot who they were until I saw the girl in the middle and I memorised her cus she’s pretty lol…

Okay that’s all, I think the story was so cool- I wasn’t bored and I was so excited to wait for the new ep every time. If you’re like me and love revenge plots (as well as time travel), this is your show!!!

Good survival show

I’ve been putting off watching this show since it came out, despite the fact that my friends kept telling me to watch it because when I recommended it to my mom, she told me the show is stupid so I took her word for it and just never looked back.

But today my friend told me to watch sweet home for them because season 2 is coming soon, and i was like eh why not, I have nothing to watch right now anyway, and WOW!!

This show does NOT disappoint. There were certain things that confused me at first like, why did the virus effect you when it wanted, or how come some viruses are more powerful than others and why are they using headphones and what not. (Google helped me out with these questions lmao) The reason I put it as 9.5 is because the show itself is AMAZING, world building and character development as well as relationships and the action scenes, everything is so well done, but the aspect that I found the most goofy were the monsters.

I don’t know I just can’t take the monsters seriously at all. The CGI isn’t bad but it’s just that they look like they came out straight out of a kids show, so it took the seriousness out of the show for me a bit. But otherwise I enjoyed the show a lot, despite the monsters being funny looking, it’s worth sticking around. I’ll start season 2 now!!

YOU WILL GET INVESTED!!

Okay i’m not exactly sure why it says 36 episodes when everywhere I searched there’s only 18 episodes available 😓😓 BUT, I loved this kdrama!

The concept was sketchy at first, I was curious how they could possibly make a romance show between a human and a robot, like I get these dystopian concepts but when you think about it, how could that possibly happen when robots are easily controlled by humans? I was very scared this show would turn into her sorta manipulating him into being with her but they made their story beautiful!

So much development between Sobong and the robot, their romantic scenes were honestly swoon worthy but that might just be me cus I have a crush on the actor hehe…

There were some admittedly stupid scenes in the show, like how most of the characters reactions to something shocking happening being like 3 days late, like I get it’s shocking but, stop gawking like a statue!!! It was honestly annoying a bit but i digress!

I was a little confused why the villain was shown so mysteriously in the jail looking off into the sun whilst his secretary talked to him, it just feels like there were still some plot holes left in the final episode, also about how they fixed up the robot after being practically killed like…yeah just so much happened. Somehow in the last few minutes of the final episode, everything was magically in its right place , it was satisfying but from a plot hole point of view it was just a big …eeeehhh…

Overall though I thoroughly enjoyed this show, I wasn’t bored at all and looked forward to every episode. I wish we got to see the ML and FL intimate a lil more often— granted he IS a robot so maybe that was always out of the script but whateverrr the actors had so much chemistry with each other, I needed more smh!!!

It’s a good show especially for it being in 2016, I guess that year was a prime year for K-Dramas. Really good !

Good show for when you’re bored

I was expecting a lot more from this show honestly but i think its that type of show where it depends on how you feel about it for it to be any good. Idk if that made any sense but i feel like this show could get pretty boring throughout the episodes. Despite it being only 6 episodes, which is why i had high hopes for it because usually short kdramas are always well done, but this one seemed to have just dragged itself on- nevertheless it had great fighting scenes and it’s not a hard watch, just a bit boring at times. I think they should’ve switched up the dialogue scenes with action scenes!

Anyway great show, I would watch a second season if it gets renewed!

Speechless

I knew what this movie was about and yet still I chose to watch it because of my favourite actor Gong Yoo.

Although I knew what this movie was going to be about, I wasn’t aware of what the ending would be.

Throughout the movie I had to take several pauses especially once they started showing scenes of the kids being sexually assaulted.

I think at some point I had trouble with breathing, it was disgusting and frustrating and heart wrenching.

This movie only made me think about how there are actual children in the world going through this, and despite the help- we fail them.

I can’t stop crying over this movie. I can’t stop this ugly feeling inside of my heart from the wronging I feel.

How could an adult watch a video of a child being raped and do nothing about it? How could you be so fucking disgusting? I really can’t wrap my head around it.

This whole movie changed me a lot. I cannot believe how adults lose morality when it comes to children. CHILDREN.

I hope every person who has inflicted any sort of pain on a child, burns in hell for all eternity.

Sorry for ranting so much, my comment on the movie is that the actors did very well, especially the child actors. So very well done and performed. I couldn’t stop crying through the court scenes and when the boy died. Amazing acting. I would never watch this movie again but it is still great nonetheless.

Fever Dream

Honestly I got this movie recommended to me by a friend and I decided to go blind into it, not reading the summary or anything, just diving into it. I didn’t know what to expect, but once the scenes about them getting intimate started I thought it was going to be a cute romance between the dudes but pretty soon enough it’s established that won’t be happening.

To some extent it did lowkey remind me of call me by your name, both movies have the intimate moments happen early on to the movie and make things escalate,, it was honestly a roller coaster ride.

I’m confused withn this movie though, are they both just going to ignore everything that happened and move on? Was it really just method acting? I’m so curious about it…Wish it didn’t end so abruptly honestly.

It was good and it’ll keep you distracted. Pretty solid movie, just very frustrating ending (in my opinion).

it is what it is

i watched this movie with my best friend when the movie started going viral and honestly, i expected much better.
i wasnt expecting the guy to die but also when he did, i didn't cry at all. everyone ive talked to about this movie has said they cried at this movie, but i was just like "oh..." throughout the movie. im usually a big crybaby but his death just felt so unnecessary and out of nowhere. they don't even elaborate how or why he died, hes just dead. it just feels so stupid, i think the ending could've been done better but the starting of the movie ropes you in definitely. it has rocky relationships and sad moments, frustrating moments as well. i guess this whole movie is just a big frustration fest.

Well done for the actress for making a lot of research before taking this role, shes a very good actress and you can tell by her portrayal. Autism isnt an easy disability to convey on tv and can usually cause only offense towards the community. Im so happy to see that the community complimented her on her acting instead, its definitely a story that can be educational for people who may not know how to handle people with the spectrum. Its a beautiful kdrama which shows that no matter how different you are, you can always succeed in your career.
