First of all - I'll watch whatever I want and you are no one to dictate me.
Secondly, I liked the episode I like the actors in it but commented cause I couldn't stop seeing the contrast with cdramas.
Ofc I feel bad for Chan and whatever happened to him but the episode made me feel more for Ha Ran. She lost everyone dear to her and kept mourning for someone who was alive all along.

just watched episode 1 and gosh the ML is a coward. For now I'm only tolerating him cause he's fkn hot.

Kdrama men should seriously learn from cdrama male leads. Like look at Sang Yan, He Suye and Lin Yusen, how upfront and bold they were with the women they loved. They healed their women and look at these idiotic kdrama men always doing noble idiocy and making their women suffer-

Yeah but the commentors here are making it seem like this is the worst drama ever. The baseless hate is insane when tons of mid kdramas with extremely high ratings here exist. Mdl users really do have crappy taste-

I love GYJ but it seems like she's getting typcasted into roles that involve chasing mid ass men 😭

Also I don't agree with the claim of "first two episodes being boring" at all !
First two episodes were the ones which hooked me up to watch the entire drama >>>>>

I don't get the meaning behind the sword. She told her sister to kill her lover with it and now she says she will die if stabbed with the same sword. Is it some kind of sacred artifact to kill a Gumiho or what ?

same, clear indication of something bad going to happen-

I knew something was off with him by the way he reacted when she got slapped in VR game. I'm honestly invested in the SFLs plot. The way she carries herself and deals with everything thrown at her is impressive. It would be great to see her with ML's bestie but i feel like there aren't much episodes left for that development.

You are so right, that drama was a total disaster. I'm hoping this one makes up for the terrible experience cause I still haven't given up on kdramas. And I'm loving it so far.
