Especially that Joseon period granny. I’d give her a heart attack during one of her many rants send her to go meet her husband in the great beyond. And for SJ her brakes would be mysteriously malfunctioning one day car accident boom dead and he demon mother jail life sentence frame her for some kind of crime

As a parent, you CANNOT treat your child horribly and expect them to love you later on!

Over on tt is saw a lot of people debating what KangHo did to his mom and how he treats her. I definitely understand and see both sides of the coin. However, I will say this. A parent has no right whatsoever to treat their child horribly and for a second think that same child will one day grow up and love them. If so they’re delusional! (I’m saying this as a child who grew up with emotionally unstable mother)

Yes he could’ve easily forgiven his mom and moved on from what she did. But she created emotional scars and traumas for him. Even if she didn’t mean to she still did. Thus she’s reaping the benefits of all she’s sown. She basically robbed him of a childhood. Gave him a life he never wanted. Prohibited him from being able to dream of a future where he picked a life of his own. And despite all this he should love her and be nice?

The very thing we fear is what our reality becomes. His mom was scared he’ll end up like his father and have exactly what was done to them will be done to him. Yet he’s now the one doing the very thing she was scared he’ll do.

Anyway on a side not does I strongly believe he’s becoming the very people who hurt his family to take revenge on them. Also does anyone suspect who the young kids belong too?🤔 I have a strong gut feeling it’s you know who🤫

I mean he could be 'climbing up' to take revenge that's a possibility we just have to wait and see. For now based on ep1 and ep2 trailer that's my assumption

what I find ironic is how the tables turned. ML mom fought so hard for her son to live the life she wanted in fear that he might end up like her and his dad (especially his father). Yet her son works for the man who destroyed her family and killed her son. Indirectly her fear and what she was doing was holding him to become like the very people she detested.

Well you’re in for a ride. Luckily the writer is going off so nothing drags on and is always solved by the next episode. This can’t be said for every weekend soap drama

Exactly Joon Ha has issues but Se Jin is just down right evil. Everyone is just a pawn to her and a stepping stone to her getting her prize aka Tae Kyung and money

yeah bu the thing is the custody battle will on be between Joon Ha and Yeon Do. Plus SeJin will still not have her full way. Also judging from how Joon Ha reacted to Yeon Do asking him that question in the beginning, even if he finds out the child is his I don't think he'll want it. He might fight her but to be a dad I don't think so

Don’t trust her either but YD is a force to be reckoned with so if she tries to pull some bs, she better be prepared for YD to also be pulling the same tricks she uses

Right! The only reason the granny gets her way is cause no one stands up to her. Even her own so . Every time the try to retaliate she does some bad and then they back down. But with Yeon Do she’s not that way. So if granny wants to put on a show best believe that YD will put on a better one and May the best woman win🤣
