In ep 1 yes but after ep 1 it takes different arc from LBFAD , chemistry is superb , couple have love hate relationship, great acting
Just watch first 6 episodes which was released on day 1 and then judge wether u like it or not. I mean me and u can have different taste

Its not makers fault they were forced to shorten the length. Honestly i used to skip many episodes of xianxia earlier when they used toh have 60 episodes, like i skipped love and redemption and ashes of love and peach blossom. I m glad they have reduced it to 40 there are no boring scenes may be they will give explanation to all these plot holes later

I agree it's not good to compare with LBFAD that drama was a different one although booth looks similar from outside but there is huge difference
