Yeah I’ve noticed! Because there are so many really talented Filipino actors and they usually do movies like Kathryn bernado she’s been on the big screen since she was a child and her acting is truly marvelous I am always in awe whenever I see her acting! But that’s simply why I am not bashing the actors because I know that they can grow, and the general public isn’t the international market but rather teens in the Philippines!

Yeah as a reader the scene live just felt off, it didnt live up to the expectations that we had while reading it!! Which sucks but it’s still ok, hopefully the New Year’s Eve episode will be similar to the book

Yeah That’s one of the main reasons why I haven’t dropped the show!! Everyday week im so excited for the upcoming episode!! The acting isn’t the best but it’s okay, I’m excited to see how the story adapts the book and I’ve fallen in love with ashdres their chemistry off screen is truly marvelous

No hate to the actors but the acting in these viva shows are kind of horrible to say the least! I am not really going to bash them because the main audience is not the international audience but the Filipino audience! I am American and American shows have some pretty great acting, I watch a whole lot of Korean/ Chinese shows as well and in those the acting is splendid! so my view on the acting in not just this show but other shows under Viva and other Filipino shows is kind of underwhelming! Especially when it comes to crying scenes!

The second hand embarrassment I keep getting with all of the f bombs that are getting thrown around in this show is crazy! Yuri screaming let’s f***ing go is embarrassing sorry! The dialogue also screams 2nd hand embarrassment! I have to skip most scenes because of it! I love the actors, they are all fairly new to acting so I hope their acting grows if this is truly the career choice they have chosen! I wish nothing but the best for them and hopefully their acting continues to grow in the upcoming years

The book is worse to my understanding! They gloss over everything and it’s taking a whole 3 books just to simply understand the narrative behind the characters actions!!

One thing I have noticed is that it’s best to not pay attention to the acting! Watching American/ Korean/chinese shows really set the standard so high for me that the acting in Filipino shows just doesn’t really sit with me! 😭

Ep 12 was way different than how I imagined it and also very different from the book!? Especially the Halloween scene! This episode felt rushed, we used to get an hour long episode and now we are waiting a whole week just to get a 40 minute episode! The Halloween scene instead of it being very sensual it was cute and comforting which is nice but it just makes the people who actually read the book a bit disappointed!!

No problem and also based on Viva’s previous projects (ie. University stories) I don’t think it will take that long maybe around a year or even less!! But that’s only if they decide to renew but I think it would be stupid not to renew based on how big the ashdres/ashbin fandom has became and it’s still growing to this day! Not to mention Ang Mutya ng section e has accumulated so many international fans it’s going to be hard not to bring a season 2

many people who are currenlty reading book 3 refer to her as a villain, she's sweet but don't cross her and we can kind of already see it in the series when JJ refused to listen to her about mica and calix and she sent those boys to beat her up! i don't think she's the main villain but she's up there! also i am pretty sure the story won't be finished with only one season, they might renew and film another season for book 2 and since book 3 is still ongoing they might wait until it finishes so they can maybe combine book 2 and 3 to make season 2 and then end it or they will simply just do 3 seasons! i really hope they only do 2 seasons because 3 seasons would just simply be dragging the story

i am currently in the process of reading book 2 and i have finished book 1 but throughout the series i believe it briefly touched on the fact that Ella did like Keifer but the one she actually loved was Yuri!

before reading the book in the drama i noticed that Yuri only started getting intertwined with JJ after Keifer announced his plan to Section e!!

To me it feels like he doesn’t actually like JJ he just doesn’t want to lose to Keifer once again! Because Yuri’s love towards JJ just feels very possessive not loving at all!! He legit started making a move on JJ AFTER she confessed that she likes KF so that’s what made me realize that his love isn’t genuine and more like a competition!! But that’s just what I think!

It would be interesting to have a whole 3 seasons but I feel like the book just does a whole lot of going back and forth that can be quite annoying! So I hope they combine book 2 and 3 into season 2 and just make it a happy ending instead of dragging the story on and on like the book!!

Oh, that makes so much sense, I’m glad that ashdres got an event today!! But I think viva should just establish a really good loveteam with Rabin so that Rabin fans can continuously support him and the partner! Because they can’t keep milking ashbin fans forever!

yeah i like the fact that the book and show give life to all the characters even side characters, its very refreshing to see! and also its really fun seeing Jayfer and Jayri stans having different opinions and yet ultimately coming together! 😊

i don't think anyone is saying that JJ is a bigger red flag than the boys, we are just saying that her hot temper is irritating and often times makes it hard to continue reading the book! i mean throughout all three books we are seeing that keifer is changing and not actually that bad and we see Yuri also changing and not being the green flag that we thought he was, while JJ still stays with that same hot tempered head of hers! that's just frustrating especially for us readers! a whole 3 BOOKS in and she's still acting the same way is annoying

okay i will check out the book then, thanks again for the summaries! i now feel better prepared going into book 1 and 2! i hope the author doesn't suddenly change the narrative though because that would simply make the book even more confusing!

okay guys serious question, why is Viva only promoting Ashbin and not Ashdres anymore? like the recent event for only ashbin was last week for their 3 month anniversary and then the event for today/yesterday was a festival in which Andres was a part of but Viva only posted about Ashbin and then later posted a photo of Andres with Ashtine, Rabin and some other dude! no post at all about Ashdres! and not to mention Rabin and Ashtine keep on going live together and promoting together!

I'm barely seeing any promotion for Andres which is weird because he is the main lead for this show and it was Viva themselves who personally contacted Andres and asked him to be Keifer! do you guys think because of Rabin's loveteam Yumi being problematic they suddenly changed it to ashtine? or does Andres simply not want to be in the spotlight?

im so confused can someone please explain! I don't hate Ashbin at all i just find it weird that the loveteam is supposed to be Ashdres but they are instead promoting Ashbin!!!

Jay’s hot temper is what got me irritated in the first place in book 1! Based on your explanation I’m actually going to check out book 2 and eventually book 3! Hopefully I don’t drop it from irritation 😭 thank you so much for the recap of the books
