i love this show but im so confuesed on the plot ---- is the ML the marquis gonna go back or will somth happen…
that is the build up that will justify the strength of their relationship to withstand adversity. it is a war drama. so be patient, you will get your fill of war scenes. FL never goes against ML.

been a long time fan of ML after watching his earth stopping acting in SoKP. just discovered FL in this drama..my God she is a show stopper, what phenomenal acting. I couldn't keep my eyes off her. she managed to blend the softness of her femininity with the hardness of a butcher and later a general and I loved it. I don't know how they managed to achieve it but it worked . I am a fan

I swear, i almost dropped this drama at episode 18, not because I wasn't enjoying it, but because some stupid reviews said it practically went downhill from then on. so glad I picked it back up. such an intriguing drama

seriously whenever they catch that unhinged Sui Yanqing and instead of taking him our clean they opt for capturing route, I roll my eyes 👀 😒..give him a few scenes later and he does some outrageous and go on a killing spree.

I agree. I almost stopped at episode 19 because of negative comments. but decided to push through, and it's been enjoyable..at least not as bad as the critics are saying. so I agree. watching this without coloured lenses might give you a different perspective. and it was myopic of me to say TPoB was basically supreme. am sure may dramas would surpass it, but it is also a Testament to how good it was.
