immediately he got stabbed, i turned it off. it wasn't because of that particular scene alone. it was an accumulation .. it takes a different route from the wuxia I am used to I guess. I can't get with this one. for example when the two ML's ran to the edge of the cliff to argue leaving the girl to fight of a literal horde of villians, 😲, the further the ran far from her, the more i screamed to my screen, "you guys she is all alone"..i know she is strong, but that was a lot of villians. it probably wouldn't have bothered me if that was the norm from the beginning. but we see consistently that whenever ml wants to go on a dangerous mission, he tries his best not to involve her so she doesn't get hurt, even though he knows that she can fight. so what now? arguing with Bai suddenly became more important than FL's life? so i was wondering to myself, who wrote this? maybe i am being critical, but i like logic, so illogical switches in dramas don't settle well with me. also the guy with the bell..seriously i can't even take them seriously everytime he wrecks havoc and just walks off, like they are playing house with him. at some point i kept saying, you don't have to kill him but maybe disable his hands or something 🤔.. the gist is that I didn't see myself watching 22 more episodes of that.. i have dropped more interesting dramas for less..

glad I dropped it at 15, couldn't move past the absolute absurdity that episode 15 was..didn't have it in me to watch 1 more minute. from them arguing at the edge of the cliff while fl fought off a horde of mind controlled villians. to them literally always letting that bell ringing villian go, to zhan knowing fully well that Bai was under the control of the poison and still stood there to be stabbed and thrown over the cliff..at that point..i said I'm not doing this..

come, are these people playing house with the villians ? or is this drama a rage bait. what's with ML always fighting with sheated swords or striking with the hilt of his sword 🤣 in a wuxia drama. what exactly was the writer gunning for, a platonic wuxia were the villians run amok and commit all kinds of crimes while the heroes play devil's advocate? I swear I am so pissed 😤..can someone explain to me why the guy with the bell is still walking around unharmed, he is not even that strong..I don't blame people that dropped this..I'm out of here..I should have trusted the rating..there is a reason it is only 7.9 even with Yang Yang in it..

I prefer it to this. if you watch blood river first, you will understand a lot of the characters in this blood of youth. but the characters in blood river are more nuanced and not one dimensional like this one. and it has a proper plot imo not a rinse and repeat senseless fights. the fights had a purpose and achieved an aim

in a nut shell. that is basically it. this is why blood river is my favourite

this was such a riveting drama. never knew i will see an ABSOLUTE TRUST relationship in a cdrama.

why is Bai He Huia written as a main lead, she has had the most underwhelming and insignificant character setup in this drama. I truly believe those who are protesting against this billing order.
