It's a tragic story, be prepared for all the way through enthrallment, whodunit, psychological drama. It touches on some very sensitive subjects, so be prepared for that. But let me tell you, it's all worth it, do not read any spoilers or comments about it. You must "experience" this Oscar-winning production, direction, music score, acting acting and acting.

I've started 1 all over again and I'm on Ep 5 and it's amazing how much I didn't remember. So yay for 1 and then I will do 2 right away as well. This is fun for me cuz I needed to lighten up from "Tender Light" Whoa smh I will a review on that one.

I am noticing now, that some of the actors back then, are actors I've seen in more recent dramas and rewatching this, has me going "Oh yeah he's/she's on here, I saw her/him on such and such drama the other day or last month!". Ha

hmmm I wonder if I should do that?

Could it be because they all are 5 years older and more mature in their acting?

I realized another plus to going back to watch S1. And that is, by the time I binge thru S1, S2 will have posted all of its episodes and I won't have to wait. LOL

Is it recommended to rewatch S1 before S2?

I really hated when she revealed that she ratted him out and he was crying so hard. I was crying with him.

Me too, it far exceeded his character in Road Home, which I really liked.

Sometimes certain great movies or dramas are spoiled by having a S2. and in this case, it just rubs me the wrong way. Yes it had a sad ending, but not every great drama ending is peaches and cream. An Easter egg is different though, if they have a little bit of an alternative ending, then come on with it then. lol But leave this alone with a Season 2.

In the meantime, see Jing Bo Ran in "Regeneration" It's too good to miss.

He's too good of an actor to be satisfied over being typecasted. I would love to see him in a really good serious wuxia warrior character or a detective with heavy duty scenes. Stretch himself. With his Rom-coms, he is hardly even seen much anymore.

When someone who has children without a spouse for whatever reason, after so many years, they are human and get lonely. My mother was left with 4 children to take care of by herself. After so long, she started dating and yes she acted like a teenage girl all aflutter with someone who gave her attention after so many years. The responsibilities weigh so heavy upon one person and the loneliness is so hard to bear. So speaking from experience, he is forgiven in my book.
