I know this was 5 days ago that you asked, but for me, I watch many of my dramas on myasiantv DOT COM.

myasiantv is up to Ep 23 with Eng subs. The series doesn't end until Oct. 7th so they're still posting the Episodes.

Miday through this too long drama, (24 would have been better), the chemistry between the Leads makes one think of a relationship between brother and sister or colleagues. It started out very good with their flirtations and growing to love and trust each other, but then changes to boring and full of political "intrigue" which is equally boring. Then like other costume dramas, it ends with everybody happy and at peace. BUT with that said, I still recommend it to those who can tolerate the excessive palace politics and don't mind the sad drop in any PDA or even chemistry and it being a little too long. Enjoy!

I don't know but I love the revenge part. And the looks on their faces when they're busted. ha

I find that many dramas are afflicted with the same "draggy" disease at some point and just needs to be fast forwarded. Thanks for the warning though. Happy drama watching!

I almost didn't watch this due to your review. How glad i am to have followed my own curiosity and now am enjoying this drama. I always go by the mantra of everybody has their own tastes and we should always follow our own thoughts and opinions and let no one influence us. But thank you for your review and giving us your thoughts and opinions. That is what makes this world go around. True?

I believe that, he is way to intimate and over the top lovey dovey, with someone who is his blood. I don't think China would approve that. Heck I would hate it if USA approved that. ugh

The love for XL is something else besides pure though. It's like falling in love with your captor. Her love for Jing though is sweet and pure.

That's what I thought too. Otherwise he is bordering on incest with his looks of not so brotherly love.

I know, but this one synopsis I read, can't remember where, says that after the death of Jing, she goes to be with CX to fight for the country with his child and her child or something like that, that of course will be in S2. I wish I can remember where......

What about CX? Why does he look at XY with loving eyes that goes beyond cousin? And he almost kissed her at one point. I read somewhere that she joins him later in life to fight against his brothers. ?? But no spoilers please. lol

I didn't find there was an age gap, but then I'm going by Ep 2 where someone said she was just a year older. So she is portraying a younger girl.

In EP 2, it was said that she was just a year older than him. So, they're not using her actual age, she's playing someone younger. And with her young looks, she can get away with it.
