MODC actually has a whole plagiarism controversy behind it because the story is pretty much taken from an extremely old manga
The writer for MODC pretty much went at the Trapped team calling the plot generic and boring and stuff and saying that they would never give a show an ending like that… (But then proceeded to give the ending to modc that they did) and some of the trapped team were actually behind the Because of You 2020 series and they shaded MODC team with a comment about salt on the day of the finale.
I will die on the Trapped supremacy hill lol
It's also why we will never get sequels for any of the previous series now.

You've got ma back is one of the first songs that they briefed to the song maker team because they saw the picture of this song during the plot making. Beside this song that chinzhilla used it to debut with 6 members, they wanted this song to be the band's character. They got the fun, lively and naughty vibes in the song/band. The song's rhythm was designed to be Britpop at first, after the first draft the song maker team barely fixed anything because it was on point and it was really good. It was the first song that was finished before the other songs.
We disguise "the supporter" vibe in the song lyrics, based on the series plot about the friendship where everyone needs each other's support and can't be without anyone. And the support from Tinn that he got for Gun as an in love person who did his best supporting, even though it made him feel lonely or sad but for someone he likes he can do it, he is happy he could help. Everyone in chinzhilla always get each other's back and Tinn always get Gun's back in every situation.
 When it comes the mini concert scene, the band's debut. We made the chinzhilla hoodies/blankets for everyone to wear to show everyone that this is chinzhilla upgraded version, and they are ready to take a step forward now. From back then when chinzhilla's image was bad in everyone's point of view because of their seniors who caused a fight in Hot Wave, but now the chinzhilla under Gun's leadership they have changed the image to look more cute and friendly. To show everyone in the school that they aren't aggressive and ready to be loved by everyone, being the adorable one for everyone just like the chinchilla rat.  bonus the pinky scene in the actual plot we only wrote that their hands will bump into each other and they will get shy/flustered and then it's the end of the episode. But by geminifourth's acting that have improved a lot in the between of filming and we felt that the relationship between these two should have been more than just bumping hands and get flustered. So we thought while we were practicing, if only touching each other's hands and it wasn't Tinngun, it's not the character of them trying to improve their relationship, it needs to get more forward. Tinn's inner want to continue going forward and Gun's inner wanted to know what Tinn wants to do next because he already let Tinn flirt with him. They both decided to recheck on each other to see if the feelings were mutual and the result made us feel full filled. And that's the origin of the pinky scene.

Personally I'm gonna stick with their Chinese names cause it's what I hear on screen and cause Chinese is my mother tongue lol
