Yes this was pretty bad. I watched some of it on YouTube and after finding out the cheaters get a happy ending I was literally nauseous. The way the ML hurt his wife and abandoned his son for the sake of his come up is ridiculous. This trope is too common in modern Chinese dramas where husbands sacrifice their wives for their own careers. My whole YouTube feed is literally filled with clips of dramas old and new where the man is cheating on his wife. Smh

I was so excited for this then I saw the trailer. After reading the comments I see my intuition was right. I too like many others waited years for season 2 just for a reboot. What a shame.

This drama is raising my blood pressure. The female lead is so unlikable and her facial expressions are cringe to say the least. She's the real villain. I'm on episode 7. I don't know if I'm going to be able to continue watching.
