I totally agree that Nan Heng’s suffering explains a lot about him. But remember how many times he tried to kill her—and that wasn’t the script controlling him, that was his own choice.
And yet, the only one getting called annoying or dumb is the FL for fighting back or being cautious? That double standard is wild. Both of them are flawed, but only she gets the hate—and that’s just unfair.

Every facial expression Li Yitong delivers in this drama is pure perfection 😭 She’s absolutely charming, and her timing in those quirky, comedic moments is spot on. I’m genuinely so happy to see her finally getting the recognition and praise she deserves for this role.
Yeah in the original script we heard sooo much good thing about him especially compared to the ml he was definitely the better option but I guess the story change itself and fl doesn’t relieve that yet
