Along with incessant stalking, the manhandling SML does by grabbing her hands multiple times lol. It's blatant harassment but you can't complain much because the FL doesn't seem to set clear boundaries with him either despite him trespassing her personal space everytime. I think it's better for us folks to binge watch this once it ends so that we can skip these 2000ish scenes altogether.
And as for those who see no problem with SML or find him 'cute' .... The problem is his character trait not his love. Stalking, manhandling, intruding her personal space etc. He can have his unrequited love for her without any of these and no one would have complained here. Indeed, I understand the overprotective brother part but it also gives off the 'rich looking down on a poor ' vibe and that really is off putting for me because he has already seen enough to conclude xiong fei is a good person

unlikely to happen because zhan yan did say to LB that she understands a bit why her father would have made that decision considering she herself is in rescue team. So if they go to the length of breakup over this later, I would say it's a goof up from the director.
Totally fell for the xiong fei and luo yan couple. Very much looking forward to their story development and for the rest, not really that intriguing tbh including the main couple.

Not really if you see the first episode where he investigates the first death. He was shown as deducing things so well. Complete contrast to what he is doing the last few episodes as I said.

Main reason for it: Ryu Sung Joon was introduced to us as a competent detective initially but in the last few episodes all he does is just visiting places on impulse with little to nothing productive as outcome.

haha. I was indeed talking about the rating. It always bugs me out big time when I see dipping ratings for good shows in MDL . We never know how many people miss out on them just going by the mere rating figure
Fair enough if it doesn't matter for you of course. But unfortunately, it does for me as I find subpar acting a bit disconcerting to enjoy a drama. Hence, I said it could be just me xD
Just my opinion so hope ardent kpop stans don't bludgeon me xD But the last time a FL acting was this much off-putting to me was jisoo in snowdrop. Pretty much feel the same here. In both dramas the ML are good actors rather unfortunately which magnifies the acting lapse. (But again that's just me)
