I watched the first episode...
UPDATE AFTER I FINISHED WATCHING THE DRAMAWell, despite what I expected, it's not a drama worth 10/10 for me. I was not bored while watching the next episodes. They were addictive enough for me to finish watching this drama. I want to point out that the actors did a really good job but there is something average about this drama. Some things didn't make sense.
About Oh Do hwan... he said he was ultimately on Jin Jung's side because it was the matter of being human. But does it really make sense? The fact is, Oh Do Hwan always took the side of the person who was more likely to win. He was well aware of at least some of the crimes of the Seo family. He knew how Director Seo treated his people when he didn't need them anymore, but he still took his side and then suddenly changed his mind. He didn't do it when there were signs that Seo Hyun Kyu might lose. He was literally punished for his actions only because of the actions of Oh Do Hwan. I think the creators forcibly wanted his character to develop and become the good one at the end. In my opinion, his actions towards the end of the drama were not entirely consistent with his earlier character.
This drama was also so predictable and so obvious. Jin Jung, in the eyes of the writers, had to win every battle and the whole war against the evil character of this drama. Because of this, even the fact that Park Jae Kyung is alive was obvious to me from the beginning.
So although the episodes did not bore me, I am a bit disappointed with this drama. It had great potential and could have been written much better.

AFTER WATCHING 1 EPISODE
rating: 9/10
I just finished the first episode and 3/4 of it was boring. The ending, however, promises some really good next episodes.
From the beginning, I expected a lot from this drama. I love Kyungsoo as a singer and actor and I'm sure his acting won't disappoint me. I haven't seen any titles where the main actors from Bad Prosecutor play the lead roles, so I'm curious how they will do.
I like the dramas of this type in general, so I hope it maintains its good level which is to be expected because of the end of the first episode.
For now, my rating is 9 because most of the first episode was boring, but the ending interested me. I think the next episodes will be more interesting and ultimately this drama will be a 10 for me. Let's see how it's going to be.

There are some things that are "BAD" but it's not this prosecutor
Let me start off with the good things I liked about this drama. It's funny. There are many action/fight scenes that I enjoyed. There's a cool group of friends that our male lead character Jin Sung can rely on 100% of the time. The acting was great. I sense the anger, annoyance, happiness, funniness, and frustration each character showed and to end off, the osts sounded great. Maybe not one I would listen to in my spare time but definitely cool to hear during the episodes. Some things I wished would've been better
* The writing for Prosecutor Oh: I like actor Ha Joon but this character did not give this actor justice. There was no sense of direction on whether he was good or bad. He's supposed to be a main character but felt more like a side character. If the end goal was for him to be a good guy from being a lapdog to the powerful, then at least show some character progression. Show that he realizes he's been doing his job wrong. A quick 180 change doesn't make sense to me if we don't see a buildup change.
* Not much connection with the lead characters: There could've been a connection as to why Jin Jung became a prosecutor relating to his father's incident but that didn't happen, hence hard to connect and understand the actions of Jin Jung other than being crazy. No backstory at all for our FL so in a way I didn't really care much for her but she does have her moments in the 2nd half
* Plot's nothing new, doesn't stand out: Pretty much corrupted bad guys being puppets by the true villain, taken down 1 by 1 until reaching the final boss.
To summarize:
It's not a drama where it will draw you in the first half unless you're a fan of D.O. I mean his acting is great as usual. It gets a little better in the second half once the puppets and the true master mind gets revealed and the good guys have the upper hand. Besides the great actors/actresses and nice osts, there's nothing that really makes this drama stands out to me. It was just missing a lot of backstories for me for our leads & even Jin Jung's group of friends. An okay ending. Ends how it begins with Jin Jung being a crazy prosecutor.
