Han Gyeol learned the truth in such a random way 🫠. I’m sad for him but also for Han Gyu-rim, I just hope they’ll sort this quickly.
Honestly the Charmain lying about being Mu-jin’s father just because he doesn’t want his daughter to know the truth, it’s just ridiculous. He’s spoiling her like she isn’t a grown woman and it’s tiring to watch. Seo-hyeon just need to accept that Mu-jin do not love her and will never instead of acting capricious. She’s not a high schooler and the world certainly doesn’t revolve around her feelings. She better not act like a brat when she learn the truth.
Watching the twins talking about their births like it’s the worst that could’ve ever happened is always sad, hope they resolve this by the end 🥺
I already grasped what happened to Gyu-rim, but I stil shed tears. However, I’m hopeful about her new resolve. Yes, she has every right to be more selfish. I was just wondering during this ep, why every abandons her in such cruel manner : her mom, her father and siblings in a certain way because they let her took all the burdens and responsibilities. I personally can’t forgive her mother. Abandoning her children is already a feat in itself but raising and caring for another child more than your own ? No, nothing can justify that. No matter how hard they will try to redeem her, I can’t stand her.
Also want to add I want Gyu-yeong downfall asap. This girl is so mean and rude, I wish her all the bad honestly, only people like her can stand her behaviour. I don’t even know why she’s so obsessed with being rich, I mean she’s a doctor now it’s not like she can’t earn money.
And lastly, I know Heung-sik’s and his mom helped Gyu-rim and all. However they just annoys me to death, I don’t find them funny, they’re always overreacting. I know they’ll get a storyline with Gyu-yeong, but I don’t care about them or their emotions. They’re not interesting enough to get that much screen time
The fact that this salt law ammendment (????) thing is a scheme put up by the Yu family to trap ZL is scaring…
And they have no political allies among the nobles in the capital which make it worse. They can rely on no one and one wrong move will kill all their efforts. Maybe Tingyun could play a role in getting allies but it’s still tough
I suddenly remember it's the same screenwriter and director as Prisoner of Beauty (and same director as Guardian of the Dafeng 🥹) and now I understand the feelings I have for this drama. Like, I love it so much. Really hope they don't let me down and finished this drama as it has started.
EP 8 was boring asf but the end is the worse thing I’ve seen in a while. I don’t understand why Mu-jin and Gyu-rim are getting with another person when they know well they don’t love them. It’s so mean of them to do that.
I was interested in their relationship honestly but I don’t understand why Gyu-rim can’t say the truth and even less understand why Mu-jin doesn’t want to confirm if he has a son. Nothing of their story makes honestly. Even more infuriating because I know it has 50ep,so I tend to be patient with those kind of dramas. But sorry, I way too old for this.
I think the only thing that will keep me going is Gyu-o & Hui-na relationship’s (maybe Gyeol and the twins too)
Just a passing thought but what if Mu-jin’s mother & sister know for Gyeol ? The preview makes think like this because it’s way too soon for the sister to know Mu-jin has a son. Maybe Guy-rim wen to them but they refused to help something like that
Like I was thinking after the first episode, this drama isn’t that bad. If we put aside the cringe moments, I like many aspects of it. The flashbacks of Susu and Qingyi are the best parts of this drama 🥹
I only watched the first ep and I wasn’t expecting much in the first place but I don’t think it’s that bad. I mean we could see from the trailers this short drama vibe so I’m not surprised about this drama’s quality. It’s bad and a little bit ridiculous yes, but it’s entertaining enough. The only thing I hate very much is this AI generated intro, it’s really the worse
Ji-yoon was so whinny in ep 8. He doesn't tell you the truth you're angry, he tells you the truth you're also angry. I don't like how she's making him guilty about having a past while she also has a past. You had a longterm relationship and even wanted to marry the guy but you draw the line at having an ex-wife ?? Her concerns are not even backed up by something happening between Si-woo and his ex. I thought this couple would've been mature enough but she's so childish
Ju-ah annoys me so much, what do you mean, after all that happened between the two of you, you are not ready to get married ?? She keeps playing with Hyun-bin which is not very nice. Overall their relationship is the huge let down of this story, they started well but they’re just a headache for the few past weeks.
